She looked at Gu Ya with anticipation.
Su Yunjin waited for Gu Ya's response.
"Yunjin, Lord Tang accompanied me to the tavern today to take another look. He's quite satisfied with our tavern and expressed his desire to buy it."
Su Yunjin stared at Gu Ya, "Husband, does this mean you've concluded the negotiations with Lord Tang? He's willing to take our tavern?" If Lord Tang was willing to buy,
then she and Gu Ya wouldn't need to look for someone else to purchase their tavern.
They could just sell the tavern outright and wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.
Lord Tang had a long discussion with Gu Ya but still felt the price of the tavern was too high and wanted Gu Ya to lower it. The price of the tavern had been set by his young wife.
Gu Ya didn't easily agree, only saying he'd discuss it with his young wife upon his return. Lord Tang said he would bring the silver to Su Yunjin's home that afternoon.
If the price was acceptable, he would pay them.
