The Left Side Always Loses

"Wow, it's Tiga!" The boy named Xiaopeng was extremely happy to see Ultraman at his bedside. If he could move, he would have jumped out of bed.

The actor in the Tiga suit moved closer and hugged the excited boy.

Chang Yebo, who played Daigo, came to Xiaopeng's bedside and asked with concern, "Hey, little guy, how are you feeling? Are you scared being in the hospital?"

"Not scared!" Xiaopeng puffed out his chest like a little hero, proudly saying, "Because Tiga is always with me!"

Looking at the boy, Daigo felt a surge of compassion. Even though the boy was very sick, he didn't show any fear or despair. Daigo didn't want to show any sadness either. After all, he was Tiga Ultraman. If the boy wasn't afraid of his illness, how could he be?

Daigo smiled and patted Xiaopeng's head, then took the item Ren had sent from the factory, which had been made overnight—a Spark Lens.

However, there were three versions of the Spark Lens.

One was a regular Spark Lens, another was completely black, and the last one was a petrified Spark Lens.

Xiaopeng was puzzled. Holding the black Spark Lens, he asked, "Daigo, what's this? How come this Spark Lens is different and black?"

"This is Tiga Ultraman's Spark Lens. It's from the movie. You saw how Tiga's Spark Lens disappeared at the end of the series, right? This is the new one. You'll see it in the new movie soon," Daigo explained with a smile.

When Jada signed the contract for filming Tiga, she already knew from Ren that Tiga would frequently appear in various movies, so she made sure to include provisions for future appearances. This way, they wouldn't have to worry about Chang Yebo becoming too expensive or unwilling to participate as his fame grew. They agreed on a reasonable price for his involvement in future projects.

Ren had already contacted Chang Yebo about filming a new movie.

After all, Xiaopeng had a little time left. Since he loved Tiga Ultraman so much, not seeing the new movie would be a great regret for him.

"Really? Tiga is going to be in a new movie?" Xiaopeng's eyes widened with excitement, and everyone in the room could see the light in his eyes.

"Yes," Daigo nodded.

Ren stepped forward with a smile and said, "Not only will Tiga be in a new movie, but Xiaopeng, you can also be in it."

The two Tiga Ultraman movies were "The Final Odyssey" and "Revival of the Ancient Giant."

The "Revival of the Ancient Giant" was more about Daigo's son, not the Tiga everyone knew. The true continuation was "The Final Odyssey."

"The Final Odyssey" continued the story from the TV series.

After the boss was defeated, humanity's ambition led to the F Project, aiming to research Ultraman's power.

The site of the final battle, R'lyeh, resurfaced, and TPC sent a team to investigate.

The story unfolds in this context.

Three Dark Ultras appear, and Daigo transforms into Dark Tiga to battle them, defeating them one by one.

This sparked endless debates among fans.

Setting aside the different forms of Tiga in the TV series, the strength of Dark Tiga in the movie was highly debated.

Some believed Dark Tiga could absorb others' power, making him the strongest. Otherwise, how could he defeat so many Light Giants in the ancient past?

Others thought the Light Giants of the past were weak, and defeating them didn't make Dark Tiga the strongest, especially since in the movie, Dark Tiga couldn't defeat Dargram and Hytlar. He had to absorb their power to win.

Some praised Dark Tiga as stronger than Noa, while others downplayed his strength.

Ren didn't care much about these debates. To him, Shining Tiga was the strongest.

In the movie, Shining Tiga was empowered by the combined light of the ancient Light Giants, and in the TV series, by the collective light of humanity.

In Ren's view, if the previous company had made a movie where Dark Tiga fought Composite Tiga, the plot would probably be:

Dark Tiga initially overpowers Composite Tiga. As Composite Tiga is on the brink of defeat, he revives with the light, transforming into Shining Tiga. Then they face off, with Shining Tiga standing on the right side and Dark Tiga on the left. Shining Tiga wins, because in typical Ultraman stories, the left side always loses, except for a few rare cases.

Ultraman stories often adjust their settings, with each new Ultraman making the previous ones seem weaker, except for Zoffy, who remains consistently strong.

Ren planned to replace a girl's character in the movie with Xiaopeng. He had already discussed this with Xiaopeng's parents.

This way, Xiaopeng could be happier, and his parents would have lasting memories of him.

"Me?" Xiaopeng was overjoyed, looking from Daigo to Ren, and asked in disbelief, "I get to be in the movie with Tiga?"

"Yes."

"Oh my gosh!"

The boy screamed with excitement.
