Chapter 55 - Test drive.

I tried my best to avoid letting Chat Gpt write everything but I can't help it. Anyway, I hope this is good enough and I'll try to improve it when I can.

That aside, I decided to do Species later and have some fun with the girls in Rick and Morty for the time being.

Can y'all suggest a name for the space car?

Anyway, enjoy. Toodaloo Bitches.

Rick and Morty

Saturday

8:00 Am

Morty wiped the last smudge of grease from his hands, a triumphant smile spreading across his face. The sleek, shimmering body of his space car gleamed under the garage lights, showing the painstaking work and boundless ambition. Finally, it was ready—his vehicle to the multiverse, capable of traversing dimensions at the push of a button.

It was more difficult than the space cruiser that Rick has because it actually looked like a car and had registered it to make it legit because it has normal appearance mode. He took it out from his megastructure and placed it in the garage.

In this Car Mode, it looked like a Koenigsegg Gemera, it boasts a sleek, elongated body with a low profile, maintaining the aggressive yet elegant design language characteristic of Koenigsegg.

The car features a four-seater grand tourer layout, which is a departure from the traditional two-seater configuration seen in many supercars. He chose the exterior paint to be a gray close to black but has subtle shading with the interior seat having a golden to yellow seat.

The Gemera features Koenigsegg's signature dihedral synchro-helix actuation doors, which open upward and outward, providing both a dramatic visual effect and practical ease of entry and exit for passengers.

Morty could have chosen Lamborghini since Ferrari loves suing anyone who modifies their cars while Lamborghini actually helps someone who made a 3d printed version.

Regardless, he wanted a four seater car that can house him and anyone who will be there with him. Of course, once it transformed into a Space Car then its appearance would change.

It has a streamlined, aerodynamic shape that minimizes drag in both atmospheric and vacuum conditions. The exterior is crafted from a blend of ultra-lightweight, high-strength materials, such as titanium alloys and graphene composites, giving it a gleaming, metallic sheen that reflects the stars.

The body is segmented with smooth, overlapping panels that can expand or contract to adapt to different environmental conditions, such as pressure changes or extreme temperatures.

The front of the space car is dominated by a large, transparent canopy made from reinforced, polarized smart glass. This canopy offers an unobstructed panoramic view of space and planetary landscapes. The glass can tint itself automatically to protect against solar glare.

Beneath the canopy, the nose of the car is pointed and sharp, housing advanced sensors and communication arrays. These sensors continuously scan the environment for obstacles, navigation points, and communication signals.

The midsection is sleek, with a slightly wider stance to accommodate the passenger cabin and essential systems. The doors are gull-wing styled, opening upwards for easy access in tight spaces. These doors are embedded with touch-sensitive panels for seamless entry.

The sides of the car feature retractable solar panels that can extend outward to harness solar energy when parked or during flight in sunlight-rich regions that is stored for backup source in case the perpetual engine is damaged.

The rear of the space car tapers off gracefully, integrating a high-powered ion propulsion system. The exhaust vents are ringed with blue, pulsating LED lights that glow brighter as the car accelerates.

Underneath, there are adaptable thrusters capable of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), allowing the car to navigate and land on uneven or rugged terrain.

Although designed for space, the car is equipped with all-terrain wheels made from a resilient, non-pneumatic material that can withstand both the vacuum of space and the rough surfaces of alien planets. These wheels can retract into the body, transforming the car into a hovercraft for zero-gravity environments.

The undercarriage is fitted with magnetic clamps for securing the vehicle to metallic surfaces when necessary, such as docking bays or maintenance platforms.

Inside, the space car is a marvel of ergonomic design and advanced technology. The seats are made from memory foam that adapts to the occupant's body, providing comfort during long journeys. They also have built-in restraints that activate automatically in turbulent conditions.

The dashboard is a seamless, touch-sensitive surface, displaying holographic controls and readouts. These can be customized and reconfigured based on the mission or personal preferences.

Ambient lighting within the cabin is adjustable, capable of simulating different environments, from the warm glow of a sunset to the cool blue of the ocean, aiding in passenger relaxation and well-being.

It also has an integrated life support system that maintains optimal air quality, temperature, and humidity within the cabin.

"This is great hahaha! I wonder what Rick will think about this. If I predict things correctly, he'll be back by Monday and take me on an adventure, probably getting that sex bot."

Morty commented, taking a bit more time admiring the car. Afterwards, Morty left the garage with Cortana and Zed following him and made his way to the kitchen.

The scent of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon greeted them as they stepped inside. His mom, Beth, was at the stove, flipping pancakes with practiced ease. Summer sat at the table, her eyes glued to her phone as she nibbled on a piece of toast.

"Morning, everyone," Morty announced, grabbing a mug and pouring himself some coffee.

"Good morning, Morty. How's your project coming along?" Beth turned, her eyes lighting up with a warm smile.

"Did you finish the space car?" Summer looked up, curiosity sparking in her eyes.

"It's done. Ready for its first journey." Morty took a sip of his coffee, grinning.

"It's quite the achievement, Morty. I've run all the diagnostics, and everything is functioning perfectly." Cortana chimed in.

Zed barked in agreement, her alien features endearing and familiar to the family.

Beth placed a plate of pancakes on the table and sat down, her expression a mix of pride and concern.

"So, you're really going to use it?"

Morty nodded, sitting down beside Summer and placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I am. And I want you both to come with me."

Summer's eyes widened with excitement.

"Where are we going?"

"Remember the villa I bought?" Morty asked, glancing between them.

"I can't wait to see the villa." Summer leaned into him, her excitement was indescribable.

They continued their breakfast, the conversation filled with both mundane and extraordinary details of their plan. The anticipation was electric, a shared thrill that underscored their bond.

"Well, we can't leave this home since dad owns it. Doesn't hurt to visit the villa from time to time." Beth is worried that Rick will leave if they move out.

"No worries, the villa is just for me to use for business and other things." Morty said since he'll be starting a business and meeting up with the company later that day afterwards will have a date with Pamela like he promised.

"Speaking of, do you know where Grandpa is?" Summer asked, noticing that he has not returned yet.

"He is likely doing some to loosen up and prepare for our next adventure. Rick said that we need to take a break after the last fuck up I did." Morty said leaning in his chair, making them reminded of the Cronenberg incident that the C-131 Rick and Morty solved but died soon after.

"Well, I hope he comes soon since I also like him in the villa." He added. After they finished eating, Morty stood and stretched.

"Ready to see the car?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Beth and Summer exchanged a glance, then nodded.

"Lead the way," Beth said, her voice steady but tinged with anticipation.

Together, they walked out to the garage. The space car sat there, its polished exterior reflecting the morning light. The woman was in awe upon seeing it wondering why it looked like a normal car.

"Wait, you said it's a space car but why does it look like a Koenigsegg Gemera?" Beth said her children looked at her with amazement.

"What?" She asked.

"I was simply surprised you knew what kind of car it is." Morty honestly didn't expect his mom to know about it since the car wasn't that well known if compared to Lamborghini and Ferrari.

"Well, I did dream of having a few sports cars." Beth said and Morty folded his arms.

"Well, do you want me to modify your red Honda Civic? Or do you want me to buy you a new car?" He suggested.

"No, it's fine. It still works just fine but thank you." Beth said with a smile.

"Well, at least I can modify the engine and fuel. This space car is running on renewal and endless energy. It will lessen the cost of spending gas for it." Morty said and Beth considered his suggestion while he walked over to the car and opened the door with a flourish.

"Your chariot awaits," he said, his voice playful.

Summer giggled, climbing into the passenger seat. Beth hesitated for a moment, then followed, her apprehension giving way to trust and curiosity. Morty slid into the driver's seat, the familiar controls fitting under his hands like a second skin. Cortana took her place in the back while Zed settled at her feet.

"All set?" Morty asked, looking back at them.

They both nodded, their faces a mix of excitement and nervousness.

"Let's do this," Summer said, her hand slipping into Morty's.

Morty pressed a series of buttons on the console, the engine humming to life. The car transformer into its space car mode.

"Next stop, our villa," He said, and with a soft whoosh, the space car lifted off the ground. The interior lights flickered as the vehicle phased out of their reality.

The transition was seamless. One moment, they were in their familiar garage; the next, they were hovering above a verdant landscape, the villa in the distance, nestled among rolling hills and sparkling lakes. Beth gasped, her hand flying to her mouth.

"It's beautiful," she whispered.

Summer squeezed Morty's hand, her eyes wide with wonder.

"You did it, Morty."

Morty smiled, his heart swelling with pride and love.

"Welcome to our new home," He said, guiding the space car toward the villa.
