Dealla's Return

Chapter Twelve:

Sky International Airport

I take a deep breath as soon I finally came back home. For six months, I left Sky City and now I'm back though. I came back without the artifact that I was looking for and I'm a bit worry about it. One of the reasons why I chose to go back home was because of it I couldn't just shake it off or just ignore it. Because I know, there are enough to reason to feel this way.

"Lady Deal?" it was Thomas who cut off my thoughts.

I sigh before I answered. "Yes?"

"Where do you want to go first?"

"Let's go straight at the shop, I badly wanted to meet my best friends."

"Okay, I'll take you there."

"Thank you, Thomas."

"You're welcome." He replied and silence surrounds us after I ride in to the car. "Your concern still reflects on you." He suddenly breaks our silence and I couldn't help but to take a deep breath.

"Yes, indeed." I honestly answered. "And you couldn't blame me, after seeing 'him' that guy from that place. I couldn't help but to worry too much. Mostly when I saw him with Wafi Keir because I know how capable he is when it comes exploring an explored ruin. And I doubt if they didn't find anything from that place." Though I hope they didn't find anything even though it is a wishful thinking. I silently told to myself and even though I did not mention the name of the man I had met in Sofian; Thomas already knew who it was because his with me and saw him too.

"We still don't know anything yet," he said. "But whatever it is, we need to inform the Edelweiss about it."

"You were right I need to inform them first." I agreed. "Then, we need to get there first before we go at the shop."

"As you wish." he replied before turning the car at the Edelweiss mansion.

If the artifact that I was looking has been found by them, then the chances of protecting the Maiden's Grail will not be enough. We will need more strength than what we had now. Knowing Manu once they've learned who the reincarnation of the Maiden's Grail was. They are not merely staying silent and re-shedding of blood on both sides cannot be prevented. Even though we try to avoid it, it will happen if the artifact will be in their hands.

Meanwhile…

"Mau," I hurriedly called him.

"Yes?"

"Get the car ready, we're leaving."

"Back to the flower shop?"

"Yes," I answered. "I want to visit his wife for the last time."

"Last time?"

I smiled. "I mean, as a customer. Because the next time I will see her, I'll make sure Haimon will face his demise in front of her."

ADS Flower Shop

After informing the Edelweiss, they went there ahead. Dealla stand at the outside for a while before she decided to go inside and see her best friends.

"How long are you going to stare out of the window?"

"Dealla!" I excitedly look back at her after hearing her voice.

Dealla Griffith a co-owner of our ADS Flower Shop, and she's also my best friend just like Alena. The three of us built this flower shop after we graduated from college and because we all love growing flowers and plants this is the business that we choose together.

"Ow, did you miss me that much?"

"Of course! You've been gone for six months and you didn't even contact us." I complained because she went to Sofian Country and after she went there, she didn't even contact us not even once.

"Sorry about that but I have my reasons."

"And what reason is it?" it was Alena who asked.

"I contact you."

"But for just a short time." I answered. "If I'll count it, you've only contact us ten times and after that we've lost you. So, what happened to you back there?"

"Okay, first I'm so sorry. I really didn't mean to do that but, we went into a place where signals aren't great and because we were creating a new species of flowers, I got into it and forgot to make a call or even a text. Besides, the main land was too far from there and I can't afford to go back and forth for a thirteen hours ride. That's too tiring!"

Sofian Country is a desert place with lots of unsearched ruins. That's one of the reasons why Dealla decided to come with some researcher to also search for a new species of flowers that might found at the unsearched ruins. Although, for me it makes no sense, why would she need to go there with that reason? I really couldn't understand her though I do support her.

"So where did you go this time?" I asked.

"We went in this ruin at the south part of Sofian it is at the Dawn Village where we saw an underground ruins. And from there we search it through although because it is a new found discovery, it will take a lot of years to uncover it."

"Then you mean you will soon be going back there." Alena answered and we both know already that she wasn't here to stay longer.

"Well, we cannot stop you for doing what you've wanted." I answered then the bell rang, indicating that someone came in to our store.

"I'll take it." Alena presented and walks out the office.

"So, how's Haimon?" Dealla asked out of the blue and of all people she was the only one knows about our unconsummated marriage, which is why I don't keep secrets from her.

"He's fine." I simply answered.

"So, still…" she said. "Anyway--"

Suddenly Alena came in after she knocks then looks at me.

"Yes?"

"Mr. Reinhardt was looking for you."

"Who's Reinhardt?" Dealla asked with some tension on her voice that I couldn't figure out why she would sound like that.
