My Answer to Kanik's Warning

Chapter Eleven:

I feel so guilty, because as I hold Shu Tokino into my arms. The urge of wanting her to make love all night long was not enough for me to be swayed instead, the image of her being dead into my arms is much stronger than to consummate our marriage. The reason why I don't let myself be drawn from the desire of wanting her, instead I'll leave this marriage pure and simple. Yet, this won't take long and I know it.

I deeply sigh before calling out Redmond. "We need to go." I spoke.

"We'll it be fine to left her alone?" he was asking about my wife.

"Yes, she'll be fine here. Besides, I'll already strengthen the shield around our house it will be enough to protect her while we're away."

"Okay," he said. "What will you do now?"

"Let's head out to ADS Flower Shop first."

"You're going to send him an answer?"

"Yes, the same way that he did." I seriously answered before leaving Shu Tokino while she is asleep.

Reinhardt Corporation

"What do you think, Mau?"

"About what?"

"The bouquet that I sent to Haimon, will he like it?"

"We will find out as soon as we go home." He said because after sending Corvina to her home, I decided to stay longer to our company and from there I sent out the bouquet to Haimon's company. "Besides, as soon as he received the bouquet, he immediately went home not even his Uncle can stop him."

I laugh as I heard it and he was right, Haimon hurriedly went home that makes it more sense. The answer that I badly wanted to get has been answered.

"Then, let's go home and check out what did he reply." I excitedly answered.

ADS Flower Shop

We entered the shop with my duplicate key given by Shu Tokino, my wife and from there I search for the flower to send back to Kanik. Though I don't know which one shall I pick.

"Can't decide which one will you send?" Redmond asked.

I turned to him. "Yes, I don't know which kind of flowers I shall send."

"Then," he walks among the flowers. "Why not try this, Valerian? It means readiness. Or maybe Edelweiss, it means courage. You are ready to face with full of courage." He suggested that I silently think for a while.

"Let's us look around for more before I decide." I answered as I keep looking around then something caught my eyes. "I think I already knew what I shall send."

"What is it?"

"This one," I said as I take it. "Can you fix this one for me, Mond?"

"Yes, I'll fix it."

Reinhardt Mansion

Not too far from Kanik house, I ordered Redmond to stop the car and from there I ordered him to send the flower at the front of his gate instead of sending it through his company the same way he did and decided to wait for his reaction.

Present…

From afar…

Me and Redmond silently watches Kanik and Maury as they came back home and I heard him loud and clear.

"And I know you're watching right at this moment, Haimon Del Gazini."

"What did you want?" I asked him even though we were too far from each other I know he heard it loud and clear.

"You will see it soon." Kanik answered before he waves the flower that I sent then went inside.

"What are you going to do?" Redmond asked.

"Protect my love from now on. Don't let her out of your sight." I ordered.

"Yes, I will."

I silently nodded and quickly went back home with my wife who's sleeping soundly to our room.

The next day…

I woke up early in the morning and as always, my dear husband never fails to give me a morning kiss.

"Good morning my love." he said in sweet tone.

I smile and greeted back. "Good morning my love."

"I already cook our breakfast," he said. "Do you want to eat here or to the dining area?"

"Uhm, can we eat it here?"

He smiles at me. "Of course, I'll just bring it up."

"Uhm," I answered as I nodded.

After he left me, I stretch out my body and got out of the bed to wash up. As soon as I come out at the washroom, he came in with our breakfast.

"Uhm, it smells so good." I commented as I smell it.

"I prepare fried rice with bacon and sunny side up egg together with a hot Choco with marshmallow."

"Ow, now I'm starving."

"Come on let's eat." He said as I sat down and he quickly arranges the foods in our table. "I'll always pick you up after your work." He said afterwards that surprised me a bit, because normally Redmond always the one who pick me up and send me back home since that he works late at night.

"Why?" I curiously asked him. "Aren't you going to work late?"

"I already schedule all my late works earlier so that I have much time to pick you up."

I'm speechless.

"Why? You didn't want it?" he asked with sadness in his tone and that makes me feel a bit guilty.

It isn't because I don't like it but, because of the fact that he arranges his schedules just for me even though he always sends me to my work every morning, now he wants to pick me up after work. He really makes some efforts to flutter my heart and I love it.

"No, I want it though… I'm just flutter." I honestly tell him what I truly feel and smiles at him. "I'm already thankful that you've always sent me to my work and now that you've insisting to picking me up after work makes me really glad. So, I thank you." I said as I reach and hold his hand.

"You're my wife and I'll do anything just for you, my love."
