They Already Found the Artifact

Chapter Eighteen:

Past…

Dawn Village, Sofian

As we go on to our journey, I couldn't help but to feel more at ease than ever.

"Did she say something else?" Wafi asked me as we go inside an explored ruin. Even it is impossible at first but seeing Dealla here the impossible becomes possible.

"No, she didn't." I answered. "Why you asked?"

"Because the smile on your face doesn't disappear and I already knew there is much more meaning to it."

"Oh, well, you couldn't blame me. Because today I'm so sure, we can finally find the Oasis."

"How can you tell?"

"The way she reacts and the way her heart beats, I already knew she was hiding something important. That is why, we shall go before she and her team come in. We need to be the first one to search the ruins and find the artifact." I said and I couldn't hide my excitement.

"Alright," he said. "Then, let's head out and search for the Oasis."

Sky International Airport, Celeste Country

"Welcome home, Kanik."

"Uncle Ashru!" I greeted and hug him.

Ashru Maren a pure Vampire and Manu Leader or Black Vampire Leader, he is one of the three strongest leader of the Manu that possesses the water element.

"Wafi, you've finally came home." He said turning his gaze to Wafi.

"I'm happy to come back home." He gladly answered.

"So, you two found the artifact?"

"Yes, it is because of Wafi, he helps me a lot."

"It isn't just me, you also help out." Wafi answered.

"Well, you were right but without you I won't be able to find it easily so you're really a big help." I replied and Wafi just laughs about it.

"Anyway, I'm glad that you two found it, the Oasis." Ashru said. "And because of it, we can finally find the Maiden's Grail and soon we will become unbreakable."

"Yes, you were right." I agreed though I had a doubt about Wafi because he already lived with the humans and living along with them made him change.

"Hey!" it was Wafi. "Still had a doubt?" he directly asked and I couldn't just hide it from him and because he knew me too well, I just honestly answered him.

"Yes."

"As I said earlier before coming here with you," he said. "As I live along with the humans, with or without the supernatural powers, humans have their own demons. Wherever I go and whoever I meet evil is inevitable so you have nothing to worry about me. I'm still the Wafi that you've known before, I didn't change even though I lived normally with people for long years. I just normally lived along them because I want to explore more and that is my only purposed."

I can feel his sincerity through his words and through his eyes and all the doubts that I felt suddenly vanished. I believe him and that is it.

"Kanik! Wafi! What are you still doing there?" Ashru asked. "We need to hurry now."

We didn't notice that Ashru was already in the car. "Let's go." Wafi said.

"Yeah! Let's go and prepare the things that we still need." I said that Wafi nodded before heading at the car.

Present…

I keep looking at the ADS Shop and seeing Haimon being there with his wife, I am more interested to mess up with him.

"Are you sure, it would be fine if he will learn about the Oasis?" Maury asked me who's already standing by my side.

"Of course! There's no fun if I won't inform him."

"Then, he will take some measure to prevent you for using it."

"I know, and I wonder what he will do." I smirk. "Are the preparation ready?"

"Yes," he answered. "Wafi already set it."

"Then, let's head back and find out where they hid the 'maiden's grail'."

ADS Flower Shop

"You didn't come here just to attract attention, right?" suddenly Dealla comes out of nowhere.

"What do you mean?"

"Can't you see? Not only women's eyes attract you but also our flowers so, will you please go home." She irritably exclaimed.

"What?!" I was surprised from what she just said and laughs about it. "Sorry about that." I apologized quickly. "But my wife is still busy with her work so I can do nothing but wait here."

"I knew you will say that." She spoke. "Don't worry, I'll send Shuki home early."

"Thanks!" and smiled.

"Okay!" she was about to leave but turned back. "I forgot to tell you. Before Kanik left, he said something important to your wife. And whatever it is, she'll tell you soon."

Afterwards…

"Shuki, go home early!" Dealla suddenly announced to me.

"What?"

"You heard it loud and clear. Go home."

"But I still need to finish some orders and--"

"We'll take it from here." She said cutting me off. "And besides," she pauses to look behind her where we can see my husband. "He's getting more attention and not only by those ladies around but also the flowers around him. And I don't like it anymore so, will you please go home and bring that husband of yours out of this place before everyone around him be polluted. Okay?"

I laugh at her words and yet, she was telling the truth. Though I love the flowers that we take care to grow and glow still I couldn't help but to feel a bit jealous of them. Maybe because I love my husband more than anything that is why I feel this kind of emotion.

So, I sigh then, "alright! I go home with my husband."

"Good decision!" She exclaimed. "So, go ahead and snatch him out of here."

I chuckle because of her reaction, as if she finally feels relief after I agreed and it seems I feel the same way. I will have more time to spend with Haimon and I'm happy enough to snatch him out of those lingering eyes and out of this place.
