A Sudden Decision

Chapter Nineteen:

"I forgot to tell you. Before Kanik left, he said something important to your wife. And whatever it is, she'll tell you soon."

The last thing Dealla told me would not go away from my head and I worry of what it may be.

"Love?" Shu Tokino's voice and warm hand snap me out from my deep thought. "Are you alright?" she worriedly asked.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to space out mostly when I'm driving." I quickly apologized because I forgot that it might cause us an accident if I think too much while driving and it scares me if I put her in danger. "I'm really sorry."

"That's fine. But I've notice since we left the shop you were already thinking too deep? Why? Is there any problem?" she worriedly asked.

I take a deep breath before I answered. "It's not a problem. I was just thinking of maybe we can have a vacation." I suddenly thought. "Even for a week or two, what do you think?"

"Ha? But how about your work?"

"My Uncle was there he can handle it on his own." I justified even though this is a quick decision. "So, where do you want to go?"

"I… you decide. Besides, it was your sudden decision and I'm not sure if it would be okay for us to take a vacation all of a sudden. Also, I cannot just leave the shop mostly now that we've got a lot of customers coming."

"Dealla was already there, she can take care of it," I replied. "Besides, it will be our chance for our second honeymoon." I suddenly said and I feel so guilty all of a sudden because I couldn't give the consumption needed to our marriage because of the secret that I couldn't tell.

"Our second honeymoon?" she said and I could sense a doubt through her tone.

"Yes, why? You don't like it?"

"No, of course I like it though, isn't it quite fast?"

"Well, we've been married for one year so this is the right time for us to take a break and have a second honeymoon."

"A-alright," she smiled. "If that is what you want. I'll agree with you."

"Good! I'll take care of where we're going."

"Okay."

ADS Flower Shop

"Deal where is Shuki?" Alena asked because she left for a while when Shu Tokino and her husband went home.

"I send them home earlier."

"Really? Then who's going to take over her work?"

"Me."

"But you just arrived!"

"So what?"

"You still need to rest."

"Oh, come on! Let's go! We still have a lot to do so let's work, okay?" I said and look out from the outside.

"Hey!"

"What?"

"What are you looking at?" she asked as she looks out from where I was looking.

"Nothing!" I said and quickly push her. "Let's go to work, okay!" I said before I last look at the person spying on us though that person was suddenly gone.

Del Gazini Residence

Night…

"Love," I called Haimon's attention as we settled down to our bed that night.

"Yes?"

"You knew Mr. Reinhardt, right?"

"Yes, the brothers. Why you asked?"

"It is about Kanik Reinhardt, the youngest son. He wanted to convey you a massage." Haimon's eyes became darker than the normal and it seems there's something hidden from the way he reacts from what I am about to say though, his eyes quickly back to normal as if it didn't occur.

"And what is it?"

"He said that he already found the Oasis." I said and once again his eyes became darker and this time it is longer enough to make me feel uncomfortable.

"What did you just say?" he seriously asked.

"He… found the Oasis…" I repeated but this time I cannot hide my fear as he keeps staring at me so intently. Then he suddenly got up and went to take off his pajamas. "Where are you going?"

"I have to go."

"What! In the middle of the night?" I surprisingly asked him after looking through the wall clock.

"Yes."

"But--"

"Shu," he cuts me off with his deep and strong tone that made me shiver. "I'm sorry. But listen to me carefully. Stay here and never leave this house not until I come home."

"Ha?"

"I will call Dealla to inform about your absence."

"What…"

"No. Stay right here and don't let anyone to come in." he firmly said before leaving me behind with questions I wanted to ask and yet I knew he wouldn't tell anything.

Sage Residence

"Uncle!" with a bang I open up his office door where I found him talking to one of his minions.

"It seems 'he' already sent you a message." He said in a fact and seeing him looking so serious, I already knew he heard the news. "You know Kasper Lingira, right?"

"Yes, I knew him." I answered as our eyes met and gave him a nod as a greeting.

Kasper Lingira is the right hand and trustworthy personnel of my Uncle Norward and he is the best spy of all his minions. Seeing him with my Uncle in this late at night, I knew he already brought up the bad news.

"Then, Kasper tell us what's going on? How did the Oasis end up in the hands of Kanik?" he seriously asked and I can sense that his also worried for a fact that the secret that we were keeping will soon be revealed to the entire clans and it was because the Oasis has been found.

The Oasis is a powerful device that can answer all your questions. No time and space can stop the Oasis to reveal the whole truth that has been concealed. Though, it has a weaker side, before using it, the Oasis needs to fill with fresh blood and they need to do it at the full moon, yet it was gone passed and they need to wait for another full moon to use it.
