The Beginning

Chapter Thirty-Five:

Long before the Vampire exist, Witches and Warlocks are present on Earth, and they are powerful persons with the ability to control the elements around them. Earth, water, wind, climate, fire, ice, light and dark, and metals are the ones they can control.

Make them to be put on the top, like a god and goddess; they live like majesties ruling the Earth with their powers on hand. They all thought it will be forever when suddenly two of their own bring the Witches and Warlocks bad luck. A curse that will live them soulless, never dying and will live in bloods to quench their thirst and lastly, women cannot give birth and men cannot reproduce even when they mate to humans.

A curse that they will live forever, for eternity they are known as Vampires. The two that begins the curse fall into devastation, and yet one of them stands up and decided to talk to God of the underworld. With a pledge that this person needs to fulfill just to give their souls back, by sacrificing herself and her soul into vanishing just to give birth to a child that will save their lineage.

The God of the underworld was fascinated to her earnestly wish that the God of the underworld granted her wish. She was left the underworld unharmed and to her surprised with a soul but still a Vampire. While the other one that became a Vampire was too angry from what the God of the underworld done to him and never let it slide. He came down not to wish just like what the other one done he came just to create chaos in the underworld.

The God of the underworld got mad bringing him another curse, even if he became an immortal, death will come to him by pierce of holy oak tree. The tree that lives on Earth on the very first day that the land created and no one can prevent no matter what they do.

After that given curse, he was thrown back on Earth, still soulless unlike the other one who was given a chance to live with a soul even though she's a Vampire. Makes him more devastated after learning what did just happened. That cut ties them forever, creating two different tribes as they go on their separate lives.

He became the creator of Vampires without a soul as he continues to drink their blood only to stop at the edge of their last breath to let them drink his blood and let them die in the end to soon will rise from the dead.

While on the other hand, the one with a soul patiently waits for the right person that the God of the underworld promised her to be her soul mate. A person chosen to be the father of her child, the man that will love and accept her as who she is. And when that time comes, her child will be the savior of their lineage, even though to that exchange, her life and soul will perish forever.

Present…

"Where are we?" I asked Kanik after I look at the outside through his window car. We stop at a place that looks like an ancient ruin.

"We're here at the place where it begins. The place where the two curse person begins their greed that result our curse." he said but I couldn't understand what he was talking about. "I know that you don't understand what I am saying but you will soon know it all. Once your memories will return, you will finally understand everything that you need to know." He seriously replied and I don't know why I feel, this isn't the right thing to do.

I couldn't just ignore my husband, Haimon, and I always end up seeing him into my mind. Makes me feel a bit guiltier because I choose to seek help to Kanik rather than to continue to wait and trust Haimon's word. Still, I am here right now. I already decided even though I feel remorse for my decision. I can no longer retreat.

I take a deep breath before I get out of his car. "Alright," I said as stand there with full of conviction. "Let's go."

Sage's Residence

"Uncle!" I immediately called out on him.

"Haimon."

"I need your help."

Norward smiles before he answered. "Let's find your wife." he simply replied and I already knew I came to the right person to ask for help.

"Thanks, Uncle."

"No problem." He spoke. "Let's go."

After a while…

"What?!" I couldn't believe what Netro said. "You couldn't locate Shu?"

"Yes, I cannot."

"But why?! How did it happen?"

"I think someone already blocks everything on my sight the reason why I couldn't find her anywhere." Netro answered.

"NO! You need to find her, now!" I command.

"I am trying but--"

"No buts!" I said that cuts him off. "You need to do anything in your power to find her!"

"Hey!" suddenly someone came in. "You need to calm down first." She said with a smile.

"Sybil!" Netro excitedly called out her name.

Sybil Sage, only child of my Uncle Norward and she is also one of the powerful Witch with the blood of a Vampire. A blessed child of the Edelweiss Tribe.

"How can I calm down?! I don't even know where my wife is or where she went." Because Dealla suddenly called us after I decided to tell the whole truth, that Shu Tokino was missing. I already knew that she came back to her old house when she was still single and living on her own. The reason why I came to my Uncle to ask help but then it seems they couldn't help me.

"I'll help you to find her." she said.

I sigh. "Alright, then help us now. I really need to find her." I seriously replied.

"Are you ready to tell her the truth?" she seriously asked out of the blue.

I take a deep breath. "Yes, I am ready."
