Chapter One Hundred Forty-Seven:

"Because I have a soul." I look back to him with questions. "The Vampire races have two clans. One is the Edelweiss Clan and the other is the Manu Clan. Two clans who are both Vampire but with different personalities, one with a soul and one without a soul," he explained.

Which I easily understood because he had already told me about the two clans that ruled before it became the Sky City. But one thing he didn't mention, about the having a soul and without having a soul.

"Why you didn't include it in your story?" I asked.

"Because that thing doesn't really matter to me," he answered.

"How about… Si-Siara… if she is from the Manu Clan, then…"

"She has a soul." He answered that surprised me. "She's someone special because she is the only hope for Manu Clan. I can't explain it but you will soon understand it once all your memories from the past will come back."

"I heard it again." I said as I let go of his hand.

"A-about what?!" he asked in surprised.

"About the memories you all said that I should remember." I answered. "Because whatever it is, I don't think I'll understand it clearly! So please. Can you explain it? Why do I need to remember it?!" I irritably asked him.

It took him long before he answered. "Because the truth, you are the reincarnation of Siara."

I laugh as I hear what he answered but then, when I see through his eyes how serious he was, my laughs suddenly halt. "Wh-what do you mean, I'm the reincarnation of Si-Siara?"

"Yes, you are. And I'm telling you the truth because I don't want to keep any more secrets from you."

"No."

"Shu…" he was about to hold my hand but I dodge it quickly.

"I-I think we need to separate first." I said and quickly stand up.

"What! Shu!"

"Please, let me think." I decided before I walk away from him.

"Shu!" I was about to run to her when suddenly Sai came and blocks my way. "What are you doing?!"

"Let her." she said. "Shu has found out so much surprising information so far so you'd better let her go first. Let her think alone and she'll come back to you, I promise you that."

I don't know what makes me agree with what she said but, I did what she said and just let Shu Tokino leave alone.

ADS Flower Shop

"I knew it, I'll find you here." Suddenly the last person I don't want to see suddenly came.

"Ka-Kanik? What are you doing here?"

"Checking on you." He said and sat near me. "So, what's the development of you and your husband?"

"On process." I answered instead of telling the truth.

"What kind of process?"

"Maybe I don't have to explain anything to you about my personal life." I seriously answered.

"Ow… so, serious!" he said. "Anyway, you were right, but the thing is, we need to bring back all your memories so that we can do the right thing. The return of Vampire rule."

Kanik has been gone for a long time but until now I still can't help but forget the last thing he said. The look in his eyes and the way he uttered the last words he had uttered, messed up my mind and left me in fear.

Just thinking about what he wants to happen terrifies me so much. And whatever memory they want me to remember I just wish I didn't remember any of it anymore.

But what I don't know is that something even more frightening will happen that no one knows. Fear, which gave life to those who were unaware of the impending chaos and it begin the next day.

Sky City

Morning…

A quiet morning and everyone acted as they normally did every morning. When suddenly, a terrifying scream suddenly interrupted the silence of the morning and no one would have thought it won't be just one terrifying scream that would interrupt that day.

"What was going on?!" I asked as soon as I came down the stairs.

"They found dead bodies at the city." Alena answered as soon as she entered our shop that surprised me.

"What?!"

"Yes, they found not only one body but eight bodies were found and for some reason the bodies that were found--"

"Alena!" suddenly Dealla interrupted her.

"What?!"

"I don't think Shuki should have known about it, Alena." She said before turning her gaze at me. "You do have a problem to take care of rather than to listening for public problem. So, you should just leave it to the police, okay?"

"No, I want to know what is going on. So, please tell me. What happened?!" I commanded.

Dealla seems surprised from the tone of my voice while Alena worriedly look at me but seeing me so serious she finally answered after taking a deep breath.

"The dead bodies found loss of blood. They even found two bite marks in different parts of their bodies."

I was surprised from what Alena told me. "Vampires." I'm more surprised when it came out loud from my lips.

"Shuki…"

"What?"

Alena and Dealla said in unison with the same surprised as they both stare at me.

"…" I wanted to say a word but then I don't know what the right word to say and all I could do is run out of the shop and go to the last person I only think of. Haimon.

Del Gazini's House

"Mond, I'll go to work late." I spoke.

"Again?"

"Yes."

"Why don't you just go and talk to her?"

"After what I said to her, I don't think I can force her to talk to me." I sadly answered.

"You still need to try, Sir Haimon. Because I know how much she loves you." He said and even though he was right, I couldn't just force her to understand me. But then, Shu Tokino suddenly came and without word she hugs me.
