Power System I guess

The whole chapter will be divided into various segments for you all to understand.

Full credit to: Tsukasa0

THERE WILL BE MAJOR SPOILERS SO READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!

The Segments:

–Before Turning Point (Before Chapter 150)

-After Turning Point (After Chapter 150)

Let's start then. Again, a major spoiler warning for you all.

Especially in the second segment (After Turning Point)

BEFORE TURNING POINT:

To start, there are two types of factions in the world: The Mages and Duelists.

The Mages: Of course, are the people who can use magic.

The Duelists: The people who fight with weapons and can use magic but it's on a weaker level as compared to Mages.

This is because the mana in their bodies is tightly clung to their skin, as compared to Mages who can shoot it out.

This is also why their output magic is weaker but their bodies are much tougher as compared to Mages.

Let's start with Mages.

A mage, usually, has only one single affinity.

It can be Lightning, Ice, Fire, etc. They can use mana and form such elements to battle or do other things.

But, some rare people can use two elements as well.

Such people are called Deviants.

They can use two elements. Like an Ice-Lightning pair and such.

Then there are even rarer like very very rare people with three elements.

Such people are called Tri-elemental Mages.

(Spoiler Warning: In the early chapters, the first tri-elemental mage you will see is Brandon, who in actuality is a Penta-Elemental Mage but since only three are shown to the world at that point, he's considered a Tri Elemental.)

(Spoiler Warning: One more Important Thing I want you all to know is that for Brandon all of his elements come under one skill, [Elemental Manipulation]. They are not separate elements. Remember this as it's important information.)

This is almost all the basic knowledge you will need in those early chapters.

But since it all works a little differently for the Main Character Brandon and the Original Main Character Raven, let's move on to the system aspect now.

(Reference and Spoiler Warning: This is his System Window from Chapter 14 of Extra's Descent)

The way this system works is this.

You have Levels. To level up, you need Experience or as written here, EXP.

The way to gain EXP is through the System Quests he gets which can be seen in the bottom-most bar [Quests Available].

For each Level, Brandon obtains STAT POINTS and some other gifts that are only given in the early chapters so I won't explain them.

They are also pretty self-explanatory so there won't be much of a problem but if you have any questions, just comment on this chapter and I'll answer them.

Anyways, let's move back to the STAT POINTS.

These points, as you can guess from the name, are points that he can infuse into his specific stats, which we will get into in just a bit.

Now, we will see the Passive Skills.

As indicated by the name, these are normal status skills and are mostly always active.

The first skill, is Skill Weaver.

As explained in the window, it allows Brandon to make any skill that he wants.

However, to make that specific skill, he must have the required amount of mana and imagination for it.

There's also a specific amount of skills he can make with it as shown in the window. [Total Skills 2/2]

The [Skill Tab] is the tab where his made skills are stored.

(Spoiler Warning: Elemental Manipulation is one of the skills by the way and as I said before, even though there are multiple elements, it's registered as one skill.)

The amount of skills he can make with the Skill Weaver increases with every level he obtains. Keep that in mind.

Then, we have finally Stats.

Stats are basically aspects of his body, both physical and mental that attribute to his strength and are in some way related to mana. (Apology for the nerdy definition)

First tab, is [Stat Points Available] and as explained before, the points he has acquired from the quests that can be infused into the stats are shown here.

Let's see the stats now.

First, let me explain what all of them mean.

STR: Obviously, Physical Strength.

AGI: Physical Agility.

DEF: Physical Defense.

MP: Mana Points (Mana Capacity in other words)

INT: Mana Power (Also Quality in a sense)

CHA: Charisma.

Now to the Status bar.

Each Stat, as you can see, has a bar in front of it. (Example: [●○○○○] )

To explain, this bar indicates his progress in the rank of that specific stat.

In simpler words, let's take a stat from the system screen.

Let's do STR.

So, in the status screen, the current progress of it is STR: F [●○○○○] )

From the F, you can see that his Strength is F-ranked.

And the small circles, show his progress in that rank. And since only one circle is filled, it shows that he has just started out in the respective state.

But, if Brandon inputs one Stat Point obtained from a quest into this, one more circle fills up and he will gain progress in that respective stat.

In the case of STR, it will go from STR: F [●○○○○] to STR: F [●●○○○]

Now, we have two circles filled, which means an increase in Brandon's physical strength.

Once this bar is completely filled, the rank (F as shown in the example) will gain a rank up.

In the case of the above example, F will turn to E. Making Brandon's Strength equal to the Average Strength of an E-ranked person.

Everything that's explained above applies to all other stats by the way.

So I think that's all of the stats.

The last thing we have in this system segment is, the [System Shop].

The tab below that, you can see [System Coins].

These are coins that Brandon obtains after accomplishing a quest.

The same coins, he can use in the [System Shop] and obtain various things ( I won't spoil it for you all).

And this is it for the Before Turning Point Segment I think.

The After Turning Point Segment will be updated later.
