Attack?

Zhang Wei sat in his office, pondering Feng Lou's request. If it were anyone else but Xiao Meiying, he would have fulfilled it without hesitation. However, considering Xiao Meiying's family background, he hesitated. He knew from experience that being associated with that family, even just as friends, could be dangerous.

While he was lost in thought, suddenly there was a knock on his office door. Hearing the knock, Principal Zhang Wei said, "Come in."

Principal Zhang Wei was very surprised by the person who came in; it was Xiao Meiying, looking as graceful as ever.

"Oh, hey Meiying, how are you? How's your father?" Zhang Wei greeted her warmly.

"My father is fine," Xiao Meiying replied politely, bowing slightly. "He asked me to apologize on his behalf for not being able to visit you."

"Oh, don't worry," Zhang Wei reassured her. "I understand he's busy. Please tell him I'll come visit him sometime." He gestured for Xiao Meiying to sit down. "Why don't you have some tea?"

"Yes, Principal," Xiao Meiying replied, settling into her seat. After she sat down, Zhang Wei asked, "So, how are you liking the school? Is everyone treating you alright?"

"Yeah, it's nice. Everyone is nice," Xiao Meiying replied politely.

"You're in section B, right?" Principal Zhang Wei asked.

"Yes," Xiao Meiying replied.

"Oh, that's fabulous," Principal Zhang Wei said. "There's a student in that section named Feng Lou. He's a bright young man, much like yourself. I think you two would get along well."

Before Xiao Meiying could respond, Principal Zhang Wei added, "His father was actually a friend of your father. They used to work together until Feng Lou's parents died in a car accident. Ever since the accident, Feng Lou has not made any friends and has been holding everything on his own."

All the words Xiao Meiying was about to say got stuck in her mouth after hearing about Feng Lou being an orphan. Once again, Zhang Wei added, "I thought since your father and his father were friends, maybe you guys can become friends too."

Xiao Meiying's expression softened a little as she absorbed the information about Feng Lou's situation. She felt a lot of sympathy for him, realizing the weight he must carry as an orphan. After a moment of silence, she nodded slowly, considering Principal Zhang Wei's suggestion.

"I... I understand," she said quietly. "It must be really tough for him. I'd be willing to talk to him and see if we can be friends."

Principal Zhang Wei smiled warmly at her response. "I'm sure he'll appreciate that," he said encouragingly. "I'll let him know. Thank you, Xiao Meiying."

Principal Zhang Wei and Xiao Meiying exchanged a few more words about her life and her father. Eventually, Xiao Meiying bid farewell and left the office.

...

Feng Lou sat in his seat in the classroom, using his super hearing to overhear the conversation between Principal Zhang Wei and Xiao Meiying. He was somewhat shocked to realize that this body's father and Xiao Meiying's father were friends.

Right as he was thinking about whether this new revelation would affect his mission, Xiao Meiying returned to the class.

Xiao Meiying slowly returned to her seat and sat down, but to Feng Lou's surprise, she didn't even greet him this time for some reason.

Feng Lou also remained silent, and soon the break ended as the teacher arrived.

As the history lesson began, Feng Lou found himself quickly becoming interested. Soon, he realized that like Earth, this world also had two world wars, and many major events seemed strangely similar to those of Earth.

While Feng Lou was engrossed in learning about the history of this world, he suddenly heard a bunch of strange noises coming from outside the school. The sounds quickly morphed into a series of gunshots and screams that reverberated through the classroom, causing everyone to freeze in shock and fear.

Even Feng Lou, who usually remained composed, was shocked by the sudden sounds of gunshots. Fear crept into his mind as he realized he didn't know if his body could withstand a gunshot.

In a moment of quick thinking, Feng Lou grabbed Xiao Meiying's hand and quickly took her out of the classroom in front of everyone's eyes. As they ran, panic spread, and soon everyone else began to follow suit, fleeing from the classroom in fear.

"What are you doing? We should stay in the classroom and follow the teacher's instructions," Xiao Meiying protested, her voice urgent as she tried to reason with Feng Lou.

Despite Xiao Meiying's attempts to struggle, she couldn't break free from Feng Lou's grip.

Feng Lou tightened his grip on Xiao Meiying's hand and replied urgently, "No, we need to get out of here, now! It's not safe to stay in the classroom."

Suddenly, Feng Lou stopped in his tracks as he realized that the entire school was surrounded. "Dammit," he exclaimed, "the whole school is surrounded. We need to get out as quickly as possible."

"What do you mean?" asked Xiao Meiying, but Feng Lou didn't answer her. Instead, he started running in the direction where there were fewer enemies. He reasoned that with fewer enemies around, he might be better equipped to handle the situation.

Soon, Feng Lou and Xiao Meiying stumbled upon two men, each wielding a rifle, searching every room in the school.

Feng Lou's heart sank as he noticed that both of these men were holding a picture of Xiao Meiying. The realization dawned on him—they were here for Xiao Meiying.

"Dammit," Feng Lou muttered under his breath, his mind racing as he tried to devise a plan to protect Xiao Meiying.

As one of the men searching the room spotted Feng Lou and Xiao Meiying, he exclaimed to his partner, "I think I found her!" He pointed his gun at them and warned, "Don't move or both of you will die."

Meanwhile, his partner also spotted them and started moving toward them slowly, tightening the grip on his rifle.

"You're even prettier in person. I think we'll have some fun with you before reporting that we found you," one of the men chuckled maliciously, his gaze lingering on Xiao Meiying's chest with a lecherous intent.

Xiao Meiying trembled in fear upon hearing his comment. Feeling her fear, Feng Lou tightened his grip on her hand, silently reassuring her not to worry.

As the man approached within a foot radius of them, Feng Lou quickly pushed Xiao Meiying to the side. In a blur of motion, his muscles swelled up and transformed, and before Xiao Meiying could even comprehend what was happening, she saw Feng Lou standing alone in the corridor. Blood stained his hand, and both of those men lay on the ground, their necks ripped apart.

Xiao Meiying was stunned and a little afraid of Feng Lou. "What are you?" she asked, her voice trembling with fear and confusion.
