Thalor's eyes flickered open briefly, filled with pain and a strange, fleeting respect. "You... may become something far greater... or far worse... than any god before you," he rasped, his voice weak and fading.

"I'll be whatever I need to be," Alex replied coldly. "But you won't be around to see it."

With that, Thalor's body disintegrated into shimmering particles, absorbed by the Book of Fate. The ground beneath them trembled briefly, signaling that Thalor's presence had been completely erased from this world.
