“You…” Xiaoling tried to speak but ended up silent. 
“It doesn’t matter who I am,” Weisheng murmured, “All that matters is you stay by my side forever.” He raised his head from her shoulder and looked into her eyes, “Because you’re the only one I have in this world.”

Tale Of The Sorceress

The three shared a few drinks before Xiaoling decided to call it a day and rest. Ru grabbed Weisheng's arm and guided him outside. While Ru walked Weisheng to his room, an uncomfortable air surrounded them. Even the silence was waiting for them to speak.

"Do you have something to ask?" Weisheng asked politely, bothered by the silence and awkwardness.

Ru opened the door to Weisheng's room with one hand, guiding Weisheng inside with the other hand. He closed the door behind them and guided Weisheng toward his bed.

"Although you may take your blindfold off while staying in your room, I'll suggest you're still careful," Ru said monotonously.

Weisheng took his blindfold off and looked at Ru dumbfoundedly. When the pink eyes stared at Ru, he immediately looked away.

"Is that what you wanted to say?" Weisheng asked.
