Lady Ren had left them alone to talk about it, but she was also curious to know what went through Weisheng's head, so she leaned by the lounge window to eavesdrop on their conversation. 

Xiaoling and Weisheng quietly looked at each other for a while, making Lady Ren wonder why they weren't talking. Little did she know, they were having a staring contest again. 

Irked by the silence, Weisheng cleared his throat, "What would you like to know?" He asked. 

Xiaoling narrowed her eyes, "Everything, obviously." 

Weisheng nodded, "Well, I and the Arbiter talked about it a bit," He started explaining, "As you know, my main concern was the curse. With the curse, I knew I wasn't able to accompany you for long. Lady Ren offered to help me with that. So…" He shrugged. 

Xiaoling didn't seem convinced at all, "I don't understand. I thought you wanted me to reincarnate because the Arbiter told you my past or something…"
