Chapter 11

The monkey told Summer Mu something.

He heard about what happened the year Beck graduated from Columbia University.

One of Beck's classmates was a farmer who grew fruits. Due to the high level of mechanization and policy subsidies in the United States, there was a general surplus of production on surrounding farms, which cannot be sold at a high price.

Beck teamed up with his classmates to sell fruits.

Others dumping fruits were all about building relationships, running sales, and manipulating transportation. But he didn't. After silently preparing for several months, he suddenly launched a new website called "OneFresh".

What did this website do? Specializing in selling fruits to white-collar workers in Manhattan.

The website advocated that:"eating a fresh fruit every day is the healthy lifestyle for Manhattan residents. Isn't it because you're busy with work and don't even remember to buy it? It's okay, as long as you place an order on the website, someone will deliver the fruits to the nearest convenience store on a regular basis every day. You just need to pick it up on your way to work, finish work, or go out for lunch."

And the fruits we sell were absolutely fresh and green. Each fruit came with a small card indicating the day, time, from which farm, Tom or Jack's house, and from which tree it was picked. This is definitely more fresh than the fruits you buy from supermarkets or fruit stores, whether they were stored or refrigerated for a long time. (Of course, only Beck himself knew if it's really the case.)

The target customer group of the website was women, but men were particularly welcome to give a long-term order as a gift to their girlfriend. The website would also come with roses as a gift. Due to the network and influence of Beck and his friends in the local community, this website quickly spread and even became popular throughout Manhattan.
