Chapter 81: School War Introduction
"Okay, 1990, Hand glide, Flare, Kick-up, 6-step, Backspin, and Coffee Grinder are the only best moves I see that will give me advantage in the fight, and of course Top Rock to keep me moving"
We gathered around a hidden area, away from our school. A bigger area, bigger than our Fighters Ground, much larger than Battalion Ground. The students from Allen's University gathered on the other side, a lot of them to watch, also us, a lot of us to watch our teams fight.
It's a good thing that this ground is very wide so that we aren't cramped in here. No one knows the name of the ground, but one of our group found it.
"Mmmmmm, okay, here is the schedule of the fight" Ferdinand said and handed out 5 papers
They read it, and passed it to the next person, until they passed it to me.

I am in 2 on 2, looks like I am teaming up with the gorilla. Miguel and I looked at each other and raised our thumb for a thumbs up sign.
"Uhhh, Theodore, in 3 on 3, why is there a question mark and why there's only Arthur and Jasper?" Someone asked
I looked back again at the paper.

"I was also surprised about that, any participant for the 3 on 3?" Ferdinand said
No one raised their hand, we looked around. My eyes locked on Cain. I crouched down and went to him and raised his hand.
"Hey! What are you doing!" He shouted
"C'mon, just a participant, at least show us how helpful you are" I replied
"Well, but are you sure about this?" Ferdinand asked
Cain, started thinking, he closed his eyes and put his hand on his forehead. He gritted his teeth.
"Y-yeah, I will be filling up 3 on 3" Cain replied
"Are you sure? You sound unsure and stuttering?" Ferdinand asked
"Yes! I am very sure!" Cain replied, with lots of courage
We passed back the papers to Theodore. We sat, they said we were waiting for someone.
"Hey Mateo, what are your thoughts for the war?" Jasper asked
"Just wanted to win" I replied
"I wonder who are the guys we are waiting for" Miguel muttered
"Hey, let's guess the prize is" Arthur joined in
"Probably money" I replied
"Yeah, it is money, last year, the winner will get 800,000 dollars, but only for The Chosen Ones, the audience only watch. The loser only gets 100,000 dollars plus a severe punishment" Ferdinand said
Hmmmm, that's a lot more than back in the province.
"But they said they will be coming back right?" Arthur asked
"Yes, they said the reward will be different and since 800,000 went to the Allen's, they might be in short of money. I don't even know where they even get their money"
"So you know the abilities of the enemy fighters?" I asked
"No, none of them sounds familiar" Ferdinand replied
"That's a pain, hey, anyone knows for the prize today?" Jasper asked
"Let me guess, today might be 1,000,000 dollars?" Hit guessed
"I don't know, I just said that they might be short in money but I am not sure"
"Probably 300,000 dollars"
"My guess is 900,000"
"My guess is 600,000"
"Mine is 400,000"
Us Chosen Ones started guessing for the prize.
"Blake, how much are you earning from the internet?" I asked Blake
"782 dollars a day, you?"
"750" I lied
I don't want to tell him that I earn 1,152 dollars a day mostly I became more famous because of the arcade, I might hurt his feelings.
"I think they might be them" Ferdinand said and pointed at the trees
We looked at where he was pointing, there were a lot of them, walking towards this arena. There are like, 32 of them, who look older than us. They entered the arena and stopped, one of them walked to the center.
"Good morning to everyone, it's a good day to see some of you again and to the new faces" he shouted, with a joyous face and voice
I looked at his other friends, some of them are familiar, one caught my eye... It's the guy, who came from the province, the one who made the tournament back in the province. Is he the one who made this tournament here? I don't know.
"Some of you might be new to me, and some of you are not. There might be some of you I know and their abilities but I will promise to not snitch your abilities to your enemies. To make it tense, the school who asks for their opponent's abilities, will be eliminated to the fight or their school will get a warning. The second warning will be the loss, the other team will automatically win" The guy in the middle announced
He cleared his throat
"Now for the opening, welcome to the School War! Where war between the Public school and Private school fight to show who is the strongest, The Jones University Public school versus The Allen's University Private School!"
We cheered and roared
"But first, let's get the rules straight. This is not just about winning a battle, this is about forging a legacy. The winner of this war will get the valuable prize. You want to be rich? Then win!"
We roared again
"And make no mistake, this is not a game. We will not hesitate to use every resource, every power, every tactic at our disposal. We will not stop until we claim what is rightfully yours! First rule, the most valuable golden rule! Do not kill, second rule! Do not ask for their abilities like I said a minute ago! Third rule! Even if you know him and his abilities back to your place, do not tell his or her ability. And last rule! A valuable rule that we need! Do not kidnap or kill one another's healer. Last year, the Allen's University Private School was found out they kidnapped the Jones University's healer, which can be dangerous for the fighters after the fight, that's all"
Those will be useful rules
"And now, for the prize, for the winner, will win 3,000,000 million dollars"
"3 million dollars!!!!!!!!" All of us in the ground shouted
"Looks like I should have joined the chosen ones"
"Yeah but risky, my abilities aren't even good"
"If we win, I could buy myself a car!"

We started whispering and muttering. I took out my phone, my hands shaking. 3 million... Divi....ded by 21 equals to..... 9.....95.... 95,238 dollars!!!!!
"Now for the losers prize, last year, the losers get 100,000 dollars and a punishment. The student from Jones University lost in the war and Allen's University punished them but it didn't go well. Some suicide, some died, some went to the hospital, some traumatized, and some quit school and we don't want that to happen again. The prize for the losers today will be 200,000, exchanging the punishment to money"
"You guys are lucky" Ferdinand said
Some whispered and complained, complaining that there were no more punishments for the losers.
"And now, let's start the war!"
"YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHH"
"For the first fighters! Get ready for the first round! The first round will start in 8 minutes!"
We gathered around Lovely Rose, her body reminds me of Noelle's body. She is breathing fast, might be very very very nervous. They tried to comfort her, but she looked like she isn't stop breathing. So we just couraged her.

"Times up! Fighters, get in the middle"
Lovely stood up, her legs shaking. She went to the middle and stopped. Her opponent also went to the middle, they faced each other, looking at eye to eye. Silas Thorne, is her opponent.
"Ooohhh, looks like I am fighting a girl, this is going to be an easy win" Silas said, smiling
"Looks like someone is getting cocky. Lovely Rose! Show him what you've got!"

I might go depress making up their powers and abilities mostly I still didn't know any ability for Lovely and Silas but stay tuned. Making up abilities and are hard for me and make me wanna quit or rage on this novel.
