Meeting Grindelwald in person was a rare occurrence, so Dumbledore didn't want to leave so soon.
Seeing Grindelwald's interest in what had happened earlier that evening, Dumbledore briefly explained what had happened at the Ministry.
"He's already been able to take on Voldemort?"
Grindelwald wasn't surprised. "When we were his age, we didn't have his strength."
But that was only to be expected!
In Grindelwald's opinion, Andy not only has exceptional magic talent but also thinks differently from most people. Such wild ideas will either lead to death or rise.
That was the main reason why he was able to surpass most wizards.
Just like him, he was expelled from Durmstrang for experimenting with dark arts excessively in his youth.
In this respect, the two were very similar.
And Grindelwald knew one more thing.
Not only Andy had completed the magic transfiguration, but he was also preparing to complete the full fusion of mind and magic over the summer, creating a white magic life form similar to the Obscurus.
Grindelwald didn't know if Andy would succeed.
But he was very interested in this and had studied extensively in private.
If this idea was successful, Grindelwald believed that Andy would definitely open a new chapter for wizards and raise the upper limit of wizards to a new level.
That was the main reason why Grindelwald valued Andy so highly.
What's more, Andy was only fourteen years old.
Grindelwald was genuinely curious to see how far Andy would grow in the future.
For that reason, he decided to live a few more years.
"Yes!"
Dumbledore nodded slightly and laughed. "He's even prepared to challenge me next school year."
"Then you'd better watch out," Grindelwald joked.
The two of them talked a lot that night.
They had not seen each other for a long time, and even though they had been on opposing sides, they had countless things to talk about.
Not just about Andy.
The past, the present, the future... they talked just about everything that came to mind.
Just like when they first met, they shared their ideas and ambitions with each other, deeply attracted to each other and fascinated by each other's talent.
***
On the same night, Andy had a deep sleep.
He had many unanswered questions.
But he knew that he would not find the answers overnight.
So he decided to get a good sleep.
The next morning, Andy stretched and got out of bed. After washing up, he changed into his wizard robe and went to the Ravenclaw common room.
"Good morning!" Andy said with a smile.
"Good morning!"
Hermione put down her book, looked up at Andy, and said in a slightly dissatisfied tone, "I waited for you all night, but as soon as you got back, you went straight to sleep."
"If I hadn't met Harry, I never would have known you were back."
Andy said, scratching his head and looking a little embarrassed. "Sorry, I was really tired yesterday."
Hermione didn't really care about that.
She had already heard the whole story from Harry.
Of course...it was Harry's embellished version.
Last night, Andy first fought a fierce battle with eight Death Eaters and then went to support the Ministry of Magic and had a head-on confrontation with Voldemort.
If it wasn't for Harry swearing that Andy was definitely unharmed, she would have rushed into the boys' dormitory to check on Andy's condition.
After looking Andy up and down, Hermione pursed her lips and said, "It does seem that you're unharmed."
"Of course!"
Andy said proudly, "Those Death Eaters were no match for me at all."
"Let's go! Let's go to the Great Hall first."
"I can't wait to read today's Daily Prophet."
"Voldemort was forced to flee in disgrace last night!"
He wondered how good the Ministry of Magic's photography skills would be.
Andy had practised his spell-casting posture for this very purpose, so long as the Ministry of Magic's photography skills weren't too bad, Andy would definitely be able to see his heroic appearance in today's newspaper.
"Are you sure you want to go to the Great Hall?"
Hermione looked at Andy and teased, "If an owl flies in, you might never be able to leave the Great Hall again."
"Just thinking about it makes me realise how crazy everyone will be. That was the most terrifying Dark Wizard ever... and you fought him."
Andy: "..."
Now that you mention it.
Okay! The young wizards at Hogwarts can be terrifying sometimes. They won't stop asking you the same questions over and over again, and they will keep 'coincidentally' bumping into you in the corridors.
"I've brought you breakfast."
"I think it's best if you lie low for a while," Hermione said, gesturing to the package on the coffee table while grinning.
"Thanks!"
Andy said quickly, "It's good to have a girlfriend!"
As for lying low for a while...he had to admit, it was a wise decision.
After breakfast, Andy and Hermione sneaked out of the common room and prepared to spend the rest of the day in the Room of Requirement.
Meanwhile, the Great Hall became a madhouse!
"Oh, Merlin's knickers, Andy defeated Voldemort!"
"This is crazy! How did he pull it off? The Ministry of Magic's Aurors were no match for Voldemort!"
"I heard that Andy also defeated a dozen Death Eaters!"
"..."
The young wizards waved their newspapers and shouted the information they knew.
They repeated the same information over and over again, as if they could never say it enough. They watched every article over and over again and discussed it excitedly.
As for the other party involved, Harry Potter, he was now surrounded by hundreds of people. They urged Harry to tell them what happened last night, over and OVER again.
Harry was so tired from talking!
"Where's Andy?"
"Why isn't Andy here?"
"Anthony, aren't you and Andy in the same dormitory? Where is he?"
"Could it be that he's avoiding us?"
The young wizards can't wait to cheer Andy.
He defeated Voldemort!
The wizarding world is saved!
It has to be said, the Ministry of Magic's photography skills are quite good.
To show off the Aurors' bravery, they published a photo of the Aurors fighting Voldemort alongside the photo of Andy fighting Voldemort.
The newspaper devoted a large section covering the Ministry's determination to fight Voldemort.
To be honest, the Aurors did show bravery in last night's battle. Even though they were on the losing end, none of them thought about running away.
They all fought bravely!
But... no comparison is without harm.
On their own, the Aurors were indeed very heroic.
But if you compare them to Andy... they were quite the sight to behold!
More than twenty Aurors were unable to hold their own against Voldemort, while Andy was able to fight Voldemort head-on, single-handedly.
The battle ended with Dumbledore's appearance.
Judging from the photo, Voldemort almost ran away with his tail between his legs when he saw Dumbledore appear.
So...
The young wizard who fought Voldemort one-on-one.
Voldemort's greatest fear—Albus Dumbledore.
And the Aurors, who once again have become mere background, and their leader, Rufus Scrimgeour.
That's all there is in the newspaper!
