Chapter 585 Malfoy: My wisdom is unmatched

All day long, Andy avoided everyone.

He entered class on the dot and left in a hurry after class. He used the disillusionment charm as soon as he left the classroom. Even for lunch and dinner, he had someone bring his food to him.

As for the Great Hall, there was no way he would set foot there.

Too many people!

Just thinking about it made him feel sad!

I, Andy Collins, am a super-strong wizard who could duel with Voldemort, a wizard at the very top of the wizarding world.

But now, I am embarrassed to meet people.

The young wizards are so enthusiastic, it's a little overwhelming.

Just look at Harry.

Everywhere he went, people would ask Harry about last night. One after the other, repeatedly, and even with Ron's aid in bragging, Harry was exhausted.

Hermione had made a discreet trip out once before, and when she returned, she told Andy with a troubled face that she had witnessed three 'accidental' collisions between a young wizard and Harry in the corridors; each time, the young wizard enthusiastically greeted Harry and asked about last night's battle.

Not only that, the boy Neville apparently has been looking for Andy all day. No doubt, he had heard that Andy killed Bellatrix last night.

That's the woman who tortured his parents.

Anyway, Hogwarts is buzzing with excitement.

And the professors seem to be ignoring it!

In today's Charms class, Andy even felt Professor Flitwick's sparkling star-filled gaze on him, so much so that before the class was over, Andy had already cast the Disillusionment Charm on himself.

There's no time to waste; I have to leave!

How awful!

Of course, the joys and sorrows of humans are never united.

When someone is happy, someone else is bound to be sad.

For example, some of the Slytherin wizards. They're feeling quite depressed at the moment, but they can't show it.

For these young wizards, who have family members supporting Voldemort, Voldemort is their faith.

But now, their faith has been shattered!

But not all Slytherins are sad.

For example, Draco Malfoy is currently high on euphoria.

Because he feels like he is full of wisdom and foresight and has extraordinary insight and resourcefulness.

What? You mean Lucius Malfoy being arrested?

Haha!

That's nothing!

Just this morning, Draco Malfoy received a letter from his mother. Apart from the line about his father being arrested by the Ministry of Magic, the rest of the letter was full of praise for him.

Yes, Malfoy was praised!

His mother wrote that if Malfoy hadn't decided to stand by Andy so early on, his father would have been killed last night.

Not only that, but his mother had already visited his father.

Lucius Malfoy had, after all, defected to Dumbledore, and although he was currently being held in the Ministry of Magic, he had not been interrogated or tortured, and apart from his limited freedom, he was doing well.

This made Malfoy feel that his own wisdom was simply unparalleled.

On the surface, his father was Voldemort's man, but secretly, he was Dumbledore's man.

And he himself was Andy's man.

In this scenario, no matter who ultimately triumphed in the future—Voldemort, Dumbledore, or Andy—the Malfoy family would remain safe and sound.

The game was set!

After a whole day of deep thought, Malfoy felt that Andy actually had a better chance of winning.

Dumbledore was getting old.

Voldemort was powerful and had a considerable following, but his reputation was not good, and he was practically hated by everyone in the wizarding world.

On the other hand, Andy is only fourteen years old and has not yet finished his third year at school. However, Andy's strength is comparable to Voldemort's, and his reputation in the wizarding world is far better than that of the notorious Voldemort.

Just look at what the newspapers say:

Dumbledore's successor!

The greatest wizard of the next century!

In Malfoy's opinion, Andy could easily become the Minister of Magic and gain supreme power in the wizarding world with the support of the Malfoy family once he graduates.

A sure win!

But despite the rosy outlook, Malfoy also had his own worries.

He needed to figure out what was on Andy's mind.

As a qualified little brother, he must alleviate his boss's worries, understand his boss's thoughts, help his boss solve some minor problems that are difficult to handle, and even take the blame for his boss.

But he has no idea what Andy has in mind.

In Malfoy's opinion, Andy should stand up now to rally the people around him. He believes that if Andy raises his voice now, there will definitely be many people who want to side with him.

Including some Slytherins!

But Andy was keeping a low profile, as if everything going on was just a pain in the neck.

This made Malfoy hesitate.

If there was anyone at Hogwarts who could be said to be closest to Andy, it would undoubtedly be Hermione.

But Malfoy didn't dare go to Hermione.

So...

"Potter!"

After dinner, Malfoy and his two cronies blocked the entrance to the Great Hall, where Harry and Ron just happened to pass by.

"You've really made a name for yourself today."

Malfoy sneered. "But as far as I know, it was Collins who defeated the Death Eaters and the Dark Lord, and yet you seem to have taken credit for it and been bragging about it to everyone you meet."

"Well... it's not the first time you've enjoyed glory that doesn't belong to you, so it seems you're quite used to it."

Harry immediately turned red. "Malfoy, you should worry about yourself! Your father must be having a hard time right now. He was terrified yesterday."

Malfoy sneered in disdain.

Do I need to worry about my father?

He is Dumbledore's man!

Is it a disgrace to be terrified of Andy?

He is the next Dark Lord!

"Potter, at least I still have a father to worry about," Malfoy shot the arrow straight through the heart.

"Malfoy!" Harry was furious.

"Shut up, Malfoy!" Ron was also furious, and he even took his wand out directly.

Malfoy didn't take Ron seriously at all. He looked at Harry and mocked, "Potter...you just keep enjoying the glory that doesn't belong to you. I just don't know what Collins will think."

"Maybe...he must be sick of you by now!"

"He considers you his friend, but you've taken the glory that belongs to him."

Harry looked at Malfoy with suppressed anger. If he could, he would really like to tear his mouth off.

It's just... he doesn't have a very good response!

"Andy doesn't care about any of this!"

Ron argued angrily, "Haven't you seen that Andy has been avoiding everyone all day? All this stuff is just going to waste his time and distract him from studying magic."

"And Harry's not trying to take any credit that belongs to Andy; he's been talking about Andy's exploits all day."

Hearing this, Malfoy came to a sudden realisation.

That's right! You can win people over by getting someone else to do the work for you.

Besides, Dumbledore is still alive, and so is Voldemort.

At this time, the most important thing for Andy is to improve his own strength.
