Chapter 650: I said Andy Collins was a bad boy

After listening to the Death Eater's briefing, Voldemort became full of spirit.

I said that Andy was a bad boy, but that blind and senile Dumbledore didn't believe me.

Look, now he even found a reporter to slander you.

The evidence is conclusive!

And this explains a lot of things.

Andy has the Resurrection Stone, Harry has the Invisibility Cloak, and Dumbledore has the Elder Wand.

The three Deathly Hallows are all at Hogwarts.

For Andy, as long as Dumbledore is eliminated, the three Deathly Hallows will be within reach.

At that time, Andy will be able to become the master of Death!

Voldemort felt that he had seen through Andy's plan. He looked at the Death Eater and asked, "What did they talk about?"

"Master, my lord..."

The Death Eater's forehead was covered in cold sweat. He trembled slightly and stuttered, "They were meeting in the private room. I... I didn't dare go near."

"Worthless waste!"

Voldemort snarled, his scarlet eyes sweeping over the Death Eater. He looked at him for a long time before uttering. "Leave!"

"Yes!" The Death Eater felt and crawled out as if he had been pardoned.

"Severus, Wormtail…"

Voldemort swept his gaze over them and asked indifferently, "What do you think? Given your understanding of Collin, what do you think his motive is?"

Peter Pettigrew trembled and held his tongue.

Snape was also a little dazed.

The Daily Prophet was the most authoritative newspaper in the wizarding world, so Snape naturally read it every day. He had also heard of Rita Skeeter, a journalist who was good at making wild and unfounded accusations.

He had read the article.

What a load of Bollocks!

How could Dumbledore be behind all this?

But... this had something to do with Andy?

Did Andy tell Rita Skeeter to do this?

After the initial shock, Snape actually began to believe it.

Given Andy's character, it was not surprising that he wanted to bring Dumbledore down.

"Severus?" Voldemort reminded him with interest, seeing that Snape was in a daze.

"My Lord!"

Snape came back to his senses and replied in a measured tone, "From what I know of Andy Collins, he is a pure wizard, and his passion for magic knows no bounds."

"If... if he wants the Elder Wand, it would not be surprising for him to do such a thing."

When speaking to Voldemort, at least seven of Snape's ten sentences were lies.

However, this time, Snape felt that he could truly be speaking the truth.

No one could be more honest than him.

Voldemort nodded slightly, then turned to Peter Pettigrew and raised his voice slightly, "Wormtail?"

Peter Pettigrew winced.

"My lord, my lord..."

Peter Pettigrew whimpered, "Yes, Collins is very obsessed with magic. At Hogwarts, the only place you can find him is the library."

"As for the relationship between Collins and Dumbledore..."

Peter Pettigrew glanced at Snape warily before continuing, "Dumbledore seems to trust Collins. As for Collins... I don't know much about him, Master."

Voldemort was a little dissatisfied upon hearing this. "As far as I know, Collins and your former owner, Ron Weasley, were neighbours."

"Yes, that's right."

Peter Pettigrew said with a shaky voice. "But Collins is a difficult person to get along with, and Weasley has complained about this more than once."

"At Hogwarts, they would only greet each other when they happened to bump into each other."

Voldemort withdrew his gaze and nodded slightly.

This was indeed very much in line with the image Voldemort had in his mind about Andy.

Voldemort also found it hard to accept that Andy would become good friends with people like Harry and Ron and share his innermost thoughts with them.

Hearing this, most of the Death Eaters present already had a pretty good understanding of the situation—Andy might turn against Dumbledore!

Thinking about it, they suddenly felt that there was still a bit of hope for the future of the Death Eaters.

They could continue to just muddle through!

The group discussed the matter for a while.

As they were about to disband, the door to the meeting room was knocked on again.

Thud, thud, thud –

Voldemort waved his hand to open the door.

Amycus Carrow stood in the doorway, a little afraid to look Voldemort in the eye. "My lord... I, I have returned."

"Amycus?"

Voldemort was slightly surprised. "Welcome, my friend! I thought you had died in the battle that night, and I was saddened for a long time."

"Brother?" Amycus Carrow's sister, Alecto Carrow, looked at him in surprise.

"Master..."

Looking at Voldemort's scarlet pupils, Amycus Carrow hesitated for a moment but ultimately decided to tell the truth.

"Master, Andy Collins was also at the Ministry of Magic the other night. He used the Disillusionment Charm to hide, and he was hiding somewhere in the Atrium."

Amycus Carrow said. "When I used the Apparition spell, he followed me using the Side-Along Apparition... I splinched up during the transition and eventually fainted."

"When I woke up, I had been captured and taken to the Shrieking Shack."

Voldemort looked at Carrow in some surprise and asked curiously, "So how did you manage to escape?"

"Collin, Collin let me go…"

Carrow hastened to explain, "I paid him a little money... He tortured me mercilessly, but I didn't say anything. He wanted to kill me straight away, but I traded my life for money."

"Oh?" Voldemort said nonchalantly.

Carrow's forehead glistened with sweat. He didn't dare to look Voldemort in the eye and continued with his head bowed: "My Lord, it seems that Collins knows about Knockturn Alley business. He kept asking me about it, but I didn't tell him anything."

"My Lord, please believe me!"

Voldemort grinned at this and motioned with his hand to the seat next to him: "Of course, I believe you! Sit down, my friend."

Carrow gingerly sat down in the seat, and throughout the meeting, he did not dare to look Voldemort in the eye.

***

After the meeting, Voldemort deliberately kept Snape and Barty Crouch Jr. behind.

"It seems that Amycus has betrayed me." Voldemort's tone was slightly cold.

"I'll kill him!" Barty Crouch Jr. immediately stated.

"No rush for now!"

Voldemort said indifferently, "Keeping him alive will allow us to pass on the wrong information to Collins."

After saying this, Voldemort suddenly looked at Snape with some regret.

If only Snape were still at Hogwarts.

"Severus…"

Voldemort commanded, "For now, you are responsible for gathering information from Hogwarts. In particular, information related to the Deathly Hallows must be reported to me immediately."

"Yes, my lord!" Snape replied.

"Barty, you have an even more important task."

Voldemort continued, "I have given Bellatrix something very important. I need you to check on it."
