Invasion of Fort Aegis

Lucius sat in silence, gazing at the hung body with a sick look of satisfaction. He didn't try to hide his emotions or his hatred toward humans like this.

For Lyxor it was strange. He was used to being the murderous one while Lucius tried to stop him but it seemed like the roles had been reversed.

That young bitter child he met in the mines had become a vicious murderer.

"So what's your plan now?" Lyxor asked.

He could tell Lucius's plans changed the moment he entered the inner layers of the mine and saw the way people suffered there. His patience and plans to spend a month in the mines to find out the truth faded.

"I will need your help to deal with the guards, but it has to be inconspicuous, or we may attract unnecessary attention," Lucius responded with a frown.

Lyxor vanished in a burst of flames and appeared next to Lucius with a childish smile that made his partner jerk back in shock.
