CHAPTER 7:THE HEROIC RESCUE

Amna's screams echoed off the walls of the underground chamber, but they were muffled by the thick stone. She had been trapped for what felt like hours, with no sign of rescue in sight. Just as she was starting to lose hope, she heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the passageway.

Amna's heart raced as she wondered if her friends had finally found her or if it was someone else entirely. The footsteps grew louder, and a figure appeared in the dim light.

It was a boy, around her age, with piercing brown eyes and a strong jawline. He was dressed in a white shirt and dark pants, and a determined look was etched on his face.

"Hello?" Amna called out, her voice shaking.

The boy rushed towards her, his eyes scanning the trap. "Hello! My name is Saif. I'm here to help you."

Amna's eyes welled up with tears as Saif quickly assessed the situation. He examined the trap, his fingers probing the intricate mechanisms.

"Don't worry, Amna. I've dealt with traps like this before. I'll get you out of here."

With a confident smile, Saif set to work. He used his knowledge of ancient contraptions to disable the trap, carefully disarming the deadly mechanisms. Amna watched in awe as he worked with precision and speed.

Finally, the trap creaked open, and Amna was free. She stumbled out, her legs shaking with relief.

Saif caught her by the elbow, steadying her. "Steady, you're safe now."

Amna looked up at him, gratitude flooding her heart. "Thank you, Saif. I owe you one."

Saif smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You don't owe me anything, Amna. Just be more careful next time, okay?"

As they made their way back through the passageway, Amna learned that Saif was a skilled archaeologist's son, who had been exploring the ruins with his father. He had heard her screams and come to her rescue.

When they finally emerged into the bright sunlight, Hamza and Zara rushed towards them, relief written all over their faces.

"Amna! We were so worried about you!" Zara exclaimed.

Amna smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Saif. "I'm fine, thanks to Saif here. He rescued me from the trap."

Hamza and Zara turned to Saif, their faces filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Saif. We owe you one."

Saif smiled, his eyes sparkling with kindness. "Anytime, friends. Let's just get out of here and enjoy the rest of the trip, okay?"

Together, the four of them walked away from the ancient ruins, ready to face whatever adventures lay ahead, side by side.
