CHAPTER 32: THE UNEXPECTED CALL

Amna was in her apartment, cooking dinner, when suddenly her phone rang. She quickly wiped her hands on a towel and rushed to answer it. As soon as she heard the voice on the other end, she dropped the phone and ran out of her room, not even bothering to grab her shoes.

Shahmeer, who was passing by her apartment, saw her rushing out and quickly followed her.

"Amna, what's wrong?" he asked, catching up to her.

Amna was breathing heavily, her eyes wide with worry.

"It's my brother, Alex. He's in trouble. He got into a fight at school," she said, her voice trembling.

Shahmeer's expression turned serious.

"Let's go together. I'll drive you," he said, already heading towards his car.

When they arrived at the school, Amna's heart sank. She saw her brother, Alex, sitting in the principal's office, looking shaken. The principal, a stern-looking woman, was talking to three parents, who were gesticulating angrily.

As they approached, Amna realized that the three parents were rich and influential, and they were threatening the principal to expel Alex.

She quickly went to him and asked, "Alex, what happened? Tell me your story."

Alex took a deep breath and began, "I was in class, and those three students started bullying me again. They were calling me names and pushing me around. I tried to ignore them, but they wouldn't stop. So, I defended myself and fought back."

Amna's eyes widened in understanding. She knew her brother was a gentle soul and wouldn't start a fight without reason.

"Those three students are always bullying others. They think they're above the law because their parents are rich and influential," Alex continued.

Amna's anger rose. She knew she had to stand up for her brother and fight against the injustice.

Just then, the principal spoke up, "Amna, I'm afraid your brother has been accused of starting the fight. The other parents are demanding disciplinary action."

"This is not right," Amna said, her voice firm. "My brother didn't start the fight. He was defending himself against bullies."

One of the parents, a tall, arrogant-looking man, sneered at Amna.

"You're just a poor, insignificant girl. Your brother is a troublemaker. He deserves to be expelled," he said, raising his hand to slap Amna.

But before he could make contact, Shahmeer caught his hand in mid-air, his eyes blazing with anger.

"Don't even think about it," Shahmeer growled, his voice low and menacing.

what will happen next. Will Shahmeer's intervention help resolve the situation, or will things escalate further?
