CHAPTER 33:THE DEFENDER

Shahmeer's swift action caught everyone off guard. He grasped the man's wrist, halting his hand mid-air, and fixed him with a chilling stare. The air was tense as Shahmeer's eyes seemed to bore into the man's soul.

He was about to take matters further when Amna stepped in, placing a gentle yet firm hand on his arm. "Shahmeer, stop. Please."

Shahmeer's gaze faltered, and he hesitated, releasing the bully's wrist. He made a quick call, and the Head Master arrived, his expression stern and surprised to see the son of the world's biggest businessman standing before him.Shahmeer turned to the Head Master and said, "Get him out of school. Now."

The Head Master nodded, but Amna surprised everyone by speaking up. "No, Shahmeer. I want to handle this myself."

The bully's mother tried to intervene, but Amna stood firm, her eyes flashing with determination. "Why do you bully my brother? What's your problem?"

The bully sneered, but Amna's sharp mind was ready. She countered his taunts with logic and wit, leaving him speechless. Shahmeer watched with admiration as Amna stood up for herself and her brother.

In the end, Amna emerged victorious, her intelligence and courage silencing the bully. Shahmeer looked on with pride, his respect for Amna growing.

As the bully slunk away, Amna turned to Shahmeer. "Thanks for defending us, Shahmeer. But next time, let me fight my own battles."

Shahmeer smiled back, his eyes warm with admiration. "I'll try, Amna. But it's hard to resist when someone I care about is in trouble."

Their eyes locked, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Amna's cheeks flushed pink, and she quickly looked away, her heart racing. Shahmeer's smile grew wider, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

And with that, Amna moved forward, her blushing cheeks a testament to the flutter in her chest.
