It's our fourth day here inside the Concrete_Jungle Dungeon.
It's only been a few minutes just after daybreak. And right now, I'm alone inside the portable bathroom of our camping tent.
It's not because I'm doing number 1 or 2. Definitely not! Or because I'm getting embarrassed about my little drama last night. My current situation is truly more dire than having stomaches in the morning or the feeling of wanting to crawl inside of a hole due to embarrassment.
This odd feeling woke me up even before daybreak, not that I fell asleep during my shift as the watcher, and forced me to retreat inside the bathroom so I could concentrate without hearing Mifumi-sama and Felin's cute sniffing while they were still sleeping, is a very familiar feeling.
It's the odd feeling that every Reincarnated individual can perceive when they are close to one another.
This means that there's definitely a Lolicon_Stalker_Bastard... I mean there's definitely a Reincarnated person tailing and observing our group.
.
.
.
After gathering our camping gear and continuing moving towards our route, I told Mifumi-sama and Felin about the Reincarnated person who was tailing our group.
"Don't you think it's perhaps the Guild's staff assigned to follow our group?"
"Well, it might be... But we can't disregard that it might be a bad person who's after Mifumi-sama or Felin. It already happened before after all."
"Mhm!... Let's beat that bad person!"
"Besides, even if it's not a bad person, one out of three Reincarnated people was an annoying bastard. The other third was an idiotic one with only a third that has a sensible and good personality but still has a questionable side to her character."
"Even if one of them was rude, the other two are still our friends. Don't casually trash-talk them, Vier-chan."
"Mhm!... Trash-talking is bad, Vier!"
"Fine... Then I'm just gonna observe that person for now."
According to our personal experience and what we're told about those people who like to call themselves Reincarnated individuals, most of them are really troublesome.
We were told that other Reincarnated individuals, especially those who are Adventurers, are always looking for other Reincarnated person to join their group. Sometimes it's the other way around. A single Reincarnated person forces and bothers a group of Reincarnated to let him join their group.
In the worst case, Reincarnated individuals sometimes act like they're the protagonists of the world and do whatever they want without considering the consequences of their actions.
On that matter, it reminds me of rumors about a certain reincarnated prince of a certain Kingdom who idiotically declared to the public at his coming-of-age ceremony that he would eradicate the Deamon-kin and defeat the Deamon Lord.
What an imbacile!!!...
I mean, what does the Deamon-kin even do to him or his country? Deamon-kin Kingdoms are mostly located in the other continent and they're not causing any trouble to other Kingdoms.
Ohh!... Except that one time when the idiotic King of Deamon Ancien Dragon challenged the proud Queen of the Deamon Arachne from our continent. According to the rumors, the Queen singlehandedly beheaded the Ancien Dragon King with her bare hands.
Scary!!!...
Sigh... Back to that imbecile prince. The rumors said that the King of that certain Kingdom dethroned that certain prince as a punishment for almost breaking the peace and causing a war between Kingdoms.
To where that reincarnated prince is now... Who cares... I mean who knows?
I just hope that I won't encounter him or any other troublesome Reincarnated individuals.
Wait... Did I just set another flag?
The person stalking our group is not that imbecile reincarnated prince, right?
.

"That person is definitely following our group. And the distance between us is getting more and more closer."
After traveling for a whole day without any encounter with any type of Golem monster, the odd feeling continued to become more and more irritating to the point that I just wanted to shoot that person with my Magnum_Revoler without any regard to who it might actually be.
Aside from my maxing out irritation, it won't be a good thing if that person keeps on following our group. After all, in a few more hours the sun will start to set.
We can't risk getting attacked by a monster... I mean a monster in disguise... I mean a bad person!... Either way, if it quacks like a duck then it's definitely a duck!... Not unless it's sometimes another bird or a frog.
"Mifumi-sama, Felin."
""Mhm!!...""
With my signal, Mifumi-sama and Felin ready their weapons to prepare for combat.
"Whoever you are!... We know that you've been following us since midday!..."
That's a lie. I know that we've been followed since daybreak. I just told that lie so we wouldn't reveal all of the cards in our hands.
"Don't underestimate the three of us!... If you don't come out at the count of 10 then we're going to attack!..."
After that declaration, I immediately started my count.
" 8!... 9!..."
"Wait, wait, wait!... What happened to 1 to 7?!..."
A man with shoulder-length crimson hair, probably around 25 to 30 years old, came out behind a boulder of rock 20 meters away from us.
"I never said I'm going to start counting from 1, Mister!... Now don't move from there and tell us who you are!"
I aimed my Double-Barrel_Shotgun to that Mister as I said my demand.
"Isn't obvious, kid!... I'm the Guild's staff assigned to follow your group..."
...BANG!...
"Vier? / "Vier-chan?!...""
I fired a warning shot on the ground near that Mister which even surprised Felin and Mifumi-sama. Then glare at that Mister to show how irritated I am.
"I said to tell us who you are, Reincarnated..."
With a threatening glare which indicates that my next shot won't be another warning, I aim my Magic_Item gun back to that Mister.
"Come on kid!... With this odd feeling, I know that one or two maybe three of you are a Reincarnated person!... But are you expecting me to reveal my secret easily?!"
Argh!... What a smart a... I mean an irritating person!... Like how irritating an itch at your back that you cannot reach.
"Then prove to us that you're really the Guild's staff assigned to follow our group!"
Mifumi-sama takes over the conversation because she probably noticed the irritation on my face upon seeing this Mister.
"Fine!... Let me come closer so I can show you my Guild card..."
...BANG!...
That Mister took a step to approach our group but I immediately fired my second shot and swiftly reloaded my Double-Barrel_Shotgun to aim it back to where that Mister hid.
""Vier! / Vier-chan!...""
"Are you crazy, kid!!!..."
Lucky for him, from a 20-meter distance, he was able to dodge the iron bullets of my Magic_Item gun.
"I never said you could move from there!... You can show us your Guild card from where you currently are!..."
"As if you will be able to see it with this much distance, kid!..."
"You're not the one making demands here, Mister!"
"Sigh!... Fine!..."
That Mister then shows us a Steel colored card. Then Mifumi-sama used her Spyglass replica to read the information engraved on that card.
(...Name: Mikael...
... Adventurer Rank: Steel_Rank...
...Class: Scout...)
Steel_Rank is the advance rank of an Iron_Rank Adventurer. During an emergency, they will be treated as a Silver_Rank Adventurers and will be allowed to fight monsters with a ranking above what an Iron_Rank Adventurer can handle.
It's the same with our Bronze_Rank which is the advanced rank of a rookie Copper_Rank Adventurer.
His rank proves that he is an Adventurer trusted by the Adventurers' Guild. After all, only trustworthy Adventurers can get an advanced rank.
However, even after knowing a bit of information about this Mister, I still can't shake out this irritating odd feeling.
.
.
.
After properly introducing himself, we let Mr. Mikael approach our group. But since I was still having a little doubt about him, I told him to stop right when he's at a 5 meters distance from us.
At a 5-meter distance, whatever kind of unpredictable attack he does, the three of us will have enough time to react.
"Seriously, kid?... Why are still pointing your gun at me?..."
"I still don't trust you... Besides, you don't look like a Mikael at all."
"Pfft... Hahaha... Then what do you say a Mikael would look like, kid?"
"Someone who doesn't have an irritating fake smile like yours."
"Sigh... You're a suspicious kid but as you are an Adventurer, I can respect that."
While I'm still aiming my Double-Barrel_Shotgun at Mr. Mikael's irritating face, Mifumi-sama follows up with the conversation while Felin is looking out for anyone who might be hiding in our surrounding in case Mr. Mikael is not alone at all.
Mifumi-sama and Mr. Mikael conversation continue.
According to Mr. Mikael, he started shortening the distance between him and our group for the reason that our group will soon enter the third layer of the Concrete_Jungle Dungeon which is the old ruins of the Floating Island of Liber.
Since more high-ranking monsters will start to appear in the third layer like the Iron_Golem and small Mecha_Droid, he would be able to respond to any unforeseen circumstances and save our group if he is much closer to us.
"I just didn't expect that there would be a Reincarnated person in your group and you would be able to notice my presence using that odd feeling."
"Then is that everything you wanted to say, Mr. Mikael?"
"What?..."
"I'm telling you that if you are done, get out of here and observe us from a faraway distance before I shoot you right in the face!"
"Vier-chan!... Calm down!"
"Shoot him, Vier!"
"What?... Not you too, Felin-chan!"
"Fine, fine, fine... I get out of your way and observe your group from afar. Is that okay for you, kid?"
...BANG!...
"You crazy kid!!!..."
"Runaway while I'm still letting you leave!"
"Vier-chan, stop!"
