Concrete_Jungle Dungeon Day 5 Part 1
"Uh-huh?... EEEHHHHH!!!!..."
...thud!...
When I woke, I found myself standing in a deserted place at the edge of a high cliff.
Seeing that deathly life claiming depth as soon as I opened my eyes immediately summoned a loud heartfelt scream from my heart and made me stumbled and fall on my butt as I try to take a step back.
"Ouch, ouch, ouch..."
I tried to stand up but my trembling legs begged for me to stay on the ground.
As I calm myself from panic, I also try to recall the three basic W of life.
"What, when, and where EXACTLY AM I~?!!!..."
[Pfft!... It's really funny that you can still crack a joke even in this situation... Hahaha!...]
"ONEE-CHAN!!!..."
Since Onee-chan is here it only means that I'm inside of my dream. After all, that's the only place and time where the two of us can see each other.
[Didn't that answer the two basic W of life?... Pfft!...]
"Don't read my mind and make fun of me!... Also, please help me stand up..."

Now that I had calmed down and was able to get back on my feet with Onee-chan's help, taking a second look at this deathly life-claiming depth didn't scare me anymore... Nope!... I'm still scared.
However, what's more scary is that inside of me, whether it's within my mind, my heart, or my stomach, there is a clear voice, an urge, that is telling me to take a step forward and jump down from this height.
Scary!!!
Is this what they call '...human nature...'? Or what does '...curiosity kill the cat...' mean? Or that '...if you look into the abyss the abyss is looking back at you...' phrase?
[Perhaps you want to try jumping then, Vier-chan?]
"Nope! Absolutely not!... I'm definitely gonna die, Onee-chan!"

"So what exactly is happening, Onee-chan?"
The harsh wind that carries the dust and dirt continues to blow as Onee-chan and I stand at the end of the cliff.
[Well, I don't know exactly... When I left you sleeping here, this place was still an all-white plane... But after I get back a little bit earlier, this place is already like this.]
A deserted place with nothing but rocks and cliffs along with sand of storm that carries the dust and dirt... Uh-huh?...
"You left me sleeping?... Where did you go, Onee-chan?"
[Hmm?... It's not that important, I just dispose of some trash. Anyway isn't that view quite amazing?]
Onee-chan guided my eyes further away toward what the sand of the storm had revealed after it had calmed down.
A rusted city of metal skyscrapers.

"Uh-huh?... Who was that?"
~Vier~
[It's a bit of a shame... I wanted to see more of what that place is... But you need to wake up now, Vier-chan.]
"Wake up?... But it's not like I can easily do that even if I wanted to."
[Then how about I give you a little push that you needed to.]
"Push?... What do you mean, Onee..."

"Ehh?... GYAAAAAH!!!..."

I woke along with the sensation of falling from a high place.
It's not only because of what Onee-chan did in my dream, pushing me off that deathly life-claiming cliff but also of the method that Felin and Mifumi-sama used to wake me up.
They lift me using a blanket as the two of them hold on to its four corners and toss me high in the air with all of their strength.
"...Sob!...Sob!... How can all of you do that to me?... Even Sam didn't push Mr. Frodo deep down the volcano after the cursed ring took over Mr. Frodo's desire."
"Because you won't wake up no matter what we did, Vier-chan!"
"Mhm!... Vier sleeps like a cat."
"...Sob!...Sob!..."
"Stop with your fake crying and help us gather our camp, Vier-chan."
"Don't be lazy like a cat, Vier."
"Fine!... But don't wake me up like that ever again. It was scary!"

"I'm still sleepy..."
"How are you still sleepy when you're sleeping during your watch last night?"
"Uh-huh?... Really, Mifumi-sama?"
"Do you remember waking me up for my turn, Vier-chan?"

"But you were also sleeping when I woke up, Mifumi-sama."
"Shush... Don't tell her that, Felin-chan."
"Pfft!... I guess we're all feeling tired. Let's take more rest for today so we don't exhaust ourselves."

It's our fifth day inside the Concrete_Jungle Dungeon. And right now, our group is about to enter the third layer of the Dungeon, the old ruins of the Floating Island of Liber.
After climbing a small rocky hill, the view of the old ruins finally reveals itself to our eyes.
A ruined city of concrete skyscrapers.
It's not exactly the same as the one that I saw in my dream but the spitting image of both of them is really amazing.
"So this is what the old ruins look like."
"Mhm!... It looks weird but cool."
Mifumi-sama and Felin gaze in amazement as they look towards the unfamiliar display that we could never have thought to exist even in our wildest imagination.
Hundreds of buildings soaring above at hundreds of meters.
All of it might be old or busted, but these ruins still show its past greatness.
If Onee-chan's theory, that this old ruins was once a part of the world she once knew, then how great the people of Onee-chan's world could be to build something like this?

...RATTLE!...RATTLE!...RATTLE!...
"""Uh-huh?..."""
Our heartfelt moment was interrupted by an unfamiliar rattling sound coming behind us.
When we turn around, we find a 3-meter-tall bear-like metal creature.
"It's a bear... Humm...Humm...Humm..."
I immediately covered Felin's mouth with my right hand to stop her from shouting in amazement. I also grabbed Mifumi-sama's hands with my left hand to stop her from taking any pictures with her Art_Phone.
A 3-meter bear-like Mecha_Droid is now standing in front of us.
Its body is made of hundreds of metal gears and armored plates with a fog of white smoke coming out from the space between those gears and plates within its body.
We don't know why it's awkwardly staring at us without doing anything but it sure taking its time staring at our group.
"What should we do, Mifumi-sama, Felin?"
It's a seriously messed up situation as we let our guard down from being mesmerized by the amazing view of the old ruins and allowing this bear-like Mecha_Droid to get near behind us.
We're probably within its attack range and any wrong move will cause this Mecha_Droid to attack our group.
"I don't know, Vier-chan. I can't remember researching this situation in the town's library."
Of course, Mifumi-sama. There is unlikely anyone to tell on how to survive this situation. After all, they're all probably dead.
"Humm...Humm...Humm...Humm...Humm..."
"What?... You should play dead if you ever meet a bear?... Who told you that, Felin?"
"Humm... Humm...."
"Your Mentor, Danboro-san?"
If it's the old man Danboro-san who told that then it's definitely true... But how can we play dead while standing in front of a bear-like Mecha_Droid?
"... ... ... ... ..."
The awkward staring contest between us, the Dwarf_Cat-Eared_Elf, and the bear-like Mecha_Droid continues. Finally, the bear-like Mecha_Droid decided to ignore us and turn its back leaving our group behind.
With that said...
