Concrete_Jungle Dungeon Day 6 Part 2
I feel like my dignity as the older one is getting diminished every time I receive a slap in the face from Felin.
It's probably the same feeling as Mifumi-sama getting depressed after being harshly scolded by Felin.
Aside from the fact that Felin's slap has enough strength to leave a mark of her hand on my cheek, being scolded by someone younger than yourself really hurt your feelings.
I guess Felin and I should scold Mifumi-sama less often. She's the oldest one in our group after all.
"Enough with the joke, Vier-chan! We're in a very dangerous situation."
"Mhm!... Enough joke."
"I know, I know, I know..."

At the end of light illuminating from our Magic_Lanterns, beyond the darkness that covers our surroundings, not just one or two but more monsters are lurking.
We can hear the sound coming from their hurried footsteps. So as the voices groaned from their mouth. Voices that surely don't belong to any kind of creature alive.
...Sniff...Sniff...Sniff...
"This smell..."
"It's not a ghost isn't it?..."
"Quiet, Vier-chan!... Let Felin concentrate."
...Sniff...Sniff...Sniff...
Felin's little nose sniffs a faint smell that is unrecognizable to Mifumi-sama and me. But before Felin could tell us what that smell was, something came running from the dark and stepped into the light toward where we are.
...ROOAAARRR!..
""It's an Undead_Skeleton!!...""
"...Lava Ball!..."
...Crash!...
Mifumi-sama used her Lava_Magic skill to shoot a ball of lava and intercept the incoming Undead_Skeleton.
The Lava_Ball skill easily obliterates and burns the Undead_Skeleton. After all, flame is one of the weaknesses of Undead monsters.
We should be happy seeing the Undead_Skeleton being easily defeated. However, that walking bone which is now burning like firewood in the ground is not our concern anymore.
The Lava_Ball that continues to move further ahead even after colliding, obliterating, and burning the Undead_Skeleton that came running towards our group, now illuminates the darkness beyond the lights of our Magic_Laterns and shows us a freighting scene hiding in the darkness.
Hundreds of Undead_Skeletons wearing different clothes and armor carrying swords, staff, and other weapons with all of their hallow eyes glaring towards our group.
...ROOAAARRR!!!...

"Why are there so many Undead_Skeletons here!"
"I don't know, Vier-chan... Maybe this Underground is something like a cemetery."
"Mhm!... Cemetery! Dead cemetery!"

"Don't come near us!..."
"Lighting Beast Form - Lighting_Flash!..."
"...Rock_Blast!..."
...BANG!...SLASH!...CRASH!..

As soon as we became aware of their presence, the hundreds of Undead_Skeletons in front of us began their attack.
"Should we run away?.. But where are we going to retreat?.."
...ROOAAARRR!...
...BANG!...
"I don't think running is within our options, Mifumi-sama."
I made that remark after shooting an Undead_Skeleton that appeared behind us.
Right now, it's not just our front that has hundreds of Undead_Skeletons crawling around. It's the same with our back and at both of our sides.
"We're surrounded!..."
"If we can't run, then we're going to take a stand! We're going to defeat every Undead_Skeletons coming towards us!"
""Mhm!!...""
Well said Mifumi-sama. She's our leader after all.
Panicking in this kind of situation will do us nothing. There might be hundreds of Undead_Skeleton but they're nothing more than a walking fragile bone...

What was that?... A Flame_Magic skill landed in front of us. It didn't injure the three of us but it definitely came as a surprise...
"Mifumi-sama! Vier!"
...stab!...stab!...stab!...
""What??...""
Following the Flame_Magic skill is a series of three arrows that just barely missed us and pierced the ground.
If Felin hadn't pulled Mifumi-sama and me from behind, two of those arrows would pierced our body instead of the ground.
Those Undead_Skeletons are more troublesome than I initially thought.
"I guess we're up for more than just a bunch of walking fragile bones."

Undead_Skeleton
A kind of Undead monster that spawns from the remains of dead Humans and others alike that were left to rot to the bones inside the Dungeon or Magical_Area.
Their ranking could range from Rank_1 to Rank_3.
Undead_Skeletons like the other Undead monsters can retain certain skills and abilities of the body when it is still alive.
The phenomenon of dead bodies turning into an Undead monster is something that has been observed to happen in all kinds of Dungeons and Magical_Areas.
So if you ever see dead rotten bodies inside of a Dungeon, don't bother taking them back to town. Instead, take their Identification card and burn them on the spot.
That way, they won't become an Undead monster and chase your group all around.

"Ever heard about the skeleton who went into a bar and ordered a glass of milk...Pfft!... and a mop... Pfft!... Hahaha!..."
"Pfft... This is not a time for a joke, Vier-chan!"
"Mhm!... No joke!"

An Undead_Skeleton Warrior wearing heavy armor with a large War-axe as his weapon stands to face our group.
"Lighting_Beast Form - Lighting_Strike!..."
With the small Cat-sith with its cute hiss... I mean savage roar standing at the top of Felin's head between her cat-ears, Felin imbue her Steel_Golem Dagger with Lighting Attribute.
She makes a swift move towards the Undead_Skeleton Warrior, dodges the swing of its War-axe then pierces its armor with a stab of her Dagger.
...STAB!...BOOM!...
The Lighting Attribute imbued with Felin's Dagger releases an explosion of lighting as soon as the Dagger pierces the heavy armor of the Undead_Skeleton Warrior making its bones shatter inside the armor.
"Felin-chan!..."
"Mhm!..."
At Mifumi-sama's warning, Felin moves back to where Mifumi-sama and I are to hide from the incoming attacks.
...BURST!!!...
An Undead_Skeleton Sorcerer standing further away from us cast a large Flame_Magic skill and launched it towards our group. Along with a dozen arrows shot by two Undead_Skeleton Archers, both flame and arrows are heading towards making a three-way attack to corner our group.
Seeing that large flame floating in the air, that Undead_Skeleton Sorcerer was probably a talented Sorcerer when he was still alive. It is probably the same with those two Undead_Skeleton Archers considering their skills with bow and arrow.
Both of their attacks are deathly and fierce but it is not like we have no way of protecting ourselves.
After all, we have a talented four Magic_Attributes Sorceress on our side as well.
"...WHIRLWIND!!!..."
...BOOMMM!!!...
Mifumi-sama blocked the large Flame_Magic along with the dozen arrows and safely protected the three of us.
Then after the flare of flame that engulfed the gale of wind burns itself into the air and disappeared...
...BANG!...BANG!...BANG!...
I finally put an end to their suffering and made them rest.
After all, I'm sure no one wants to become an Undead even after their death.
