Jean and Theresa were on top of the mountain, looking down at the houses below.
“Are you sure that it’s only the humans who will be affected by this powder? What if you misunderstood what your aunt was saying?” Theresa asked, staring at Jean while she twisted her hands nervously.
“I overheard her give instructions to this lady and it’s clear that it only affects humans and not wolves. The only difference is that this woman was going to blow it over one human, whereas I have enough to blow over this entire neighbourhood below,” Jean responded with a smile and a mischievous grin on her face.
“What if it backfires and something goes wrong? Wolves will get sick and even the two of us could be affected. What if it blows back on top of us and it’s the wrong mixture?”
“I clearly heard my aunt say that it can’t have an effect on wolves, so stop being so scared,” Jean responded with an impatient grunt.
