Before they could recover their composure she was there again.
This time her shoulders were covered by a white, fur stole.
She fixed them each with a mesmerizing gaze and smiled. The two young men held their breaths, dumbstruck while she coolly started to go through Jared’s pockets with long, very elegant fingers. Then she deftly pulled out his car keys.

She and her friends have experiences in haunted houses while they act on a film. Then Jacqueline meets up with a champion dancer who turns out to be a dangerous witch. 
Victoria, the witch leads Jacqueline into experiencing disturbing episodes of magic. She’s fiercely jealous of Jacqueline and wants to destroy her at all costs because Jacqueline is a clairvoyant as well as a good dancer.

“Why should it be so formal?” Jacqueline asked offhandedly. She did not want to sound too interested. 


“Because she’s good at what she does,” the uncle answered. “So you find that many people go and see her. She is never in any hurry, which means that people cue up to see her, when they don’t have appointments. She does not allow that anymore though, because it is disorderly.” 


“So I can’t go there, just out of curiosity… as a tourist?” Jacqueline ventured to ask. 


“You can try and go as a visitor to the village. Maybe she will be courteous towards you. She will tell you about herself, but if she happens to be busy, you will find that you have disappointed yourself,” he explained to her, with a light-hearted chuckle. 


Jacqueline tried to hide her disappointment. 


“It would be nice to take a walk there though,” Jacqueline ventured. 


Back home planning a future
