“Not yet,” Indira answered. “Jacqueline wants us to do that after lunch,” she said with a wink in Adam’s direction. Adam was puzzled. He had not thought that Jaqueline would find the village of much interest.
“Is that right?” Adam asked Jaqueline. “We have to prepare to return to the main road and wait for the bus, not long after lunch.
So, any further excursions will have to be done on another occasion, I’m afraid,” he concluded.
Jaqueline tried to hide her disappointment. “Well of course,” she agreed with a forced smile.
At the back of her mind, she was hoping that someone at the university would be able to interpret her dreams for her. Yet she also wished that she could find someone here to counsel and guide her.
