During the second winter of her life with granny Angelina, another old lady arrived one day. Carlita found out that it was Angelina’s sister, who had come from Canada. Her name was Paige and she lived in Canada with her husband. 


At night, when she was in bed, Carlita would hear what sounded like an argument between the two sisters, because their voices were occasionally raised. 


After the third day of granny Paige’s visit, the police came to the house and demanded to see Carlita. Granny Angelina was weeping bitterly, because the police said that Carlita had to leave with them.
