“Oh, Laura asked me to come and keep you company,” Lucia responded as she hugged Jacqueline and gave her a kiss on both cheeks.
“Oh, that’s really thoughtful of her,” Jacqueline remarked, glancing at Lucia’s suitcase next to her.
“Then, let me open this door again we can leave your suitcase inside. I was om my way to have breakfast at a seaside restaurant,” Jacqueline offered.
“Yes, that’s a good idea!” Lucia agreed.
They then left Lucia’s suitcase in Monique’s bedroom and went out to the beach.
“This view!” Lucia declared as they were seated.
“Amazing that we can be in the Amalfi Coast right now, hey?” She waved her hands theatrically, bangles jangling loudly.
Jacqueline chuckled. “Almost makes up for the rain back in Paris when we last had dinner, eh?” she remarked in response.
