Underground Zombies!?

In the zombie fighting arena, two male zombies were battling it out, both looking large and formidable, clearly possessing great strength. The two zombies were charging and colliding aggressively, neither yielding to the other, using their sharp teeth and claws to attack each other. Both speed and power were impressive, drawing continuous shouts from the audience.

After watching for a while, Maxwell found it uninteresting. He dealt with zombies every day, had seen thousands, and had Fusioned about as many; he was genuinely uninterested in watching two zombies fight.

So, Maxwell sat in the spectator seats and appeared to be daydreaming.

Of course, he only looked like he was daydreaming.

Because Maxwell had activated the eyes of the two female zombies in his Fusion space, two invisible screens displayed right before his eyes.

He was very curious about the progress of these two zombies.

Especially the first female zombie that entered the cave had been moving underground for quite some time.

When he checked the screen, Maxwell indeed discovered something significant.

Zombies!

There were other zombies!

In the view of the Tier 1 underground female zombie, two zombies appeared, looking very similar to her.

The zombies on the surface are also transformed from humans; they all have eyes, eyes with pupils. It's rare to see zombies without pupils after transformation—none that make people feel as creeped out as these!

As the Tier 1 female zombie moved forward, the underground tunnel gradually widened. It started barely wide enough for one person, then expanded to allow two people side by side, and eventually widened enough for three or four people. Just a few steps forward would reveal new zombies appearing in her view.

The Tier 1 female zombie continued moving forward for about an hour, and the passage eventually widened as if it were a four-lane asphalt road on the surface!

Moreover, above the underground tunnel, there were some luminous stones, adding a bit of light to these pitch-black tunnels.

However, the presence or absence of light didn't affect Maxwell's clarity in seeing all this.

Her rapid movement soon attracted the attention of many underground zombies, but these zombies showed no interest in their own kind; they glanced at her and then diverted their gaze, continuing to either move around or stay put.

"The underground is really complicated, just like a maze!"

As Maxwell watched, the Tier 1 female zombie had been running for about half an hour more, but the path ahead still seemed endless.

Moreover, each tunnel was teeming with a huge number of underground zombies.

In this short period, as Maxwell watched, he roughly estimated that there might be tens of thousands of zombies already!

If he could capture them all, that would be incredibly exhilarating!

It would be like having a massive wave of a zombie horde!

Most importantly, inside this gigantic cavern, zombies densely packed the area.

Perhaps over a hundred thousand!

Maxwell sat up straight, shocked.

Good grief, if he could devour all these zombies, he might just be able to create a Tier 10 zombie!

Tier 10!

That's the level of a king-tier zombie!

Maxwell was immediately restless. He wanted to head down there right now and sweep up all these zombies in one go!

Indeed, sending the zombies to scout the underground tunnels was the right choice!

Having learned from his previous experience at Red Castle, Maxwell was naturally more thoughtful about potential problems.

Understanding the underground situation first was crucial.

Moreover, compared to the situation at Red Castle on the surface, the underground conditions were harder to detect and thus more complex, with a higher level of danger. It certainly wasn't something he could resolve in a moment.

Thus, Maxwell directed the Tier 1 female zombie to squeeze into the crowd of zombies and push forward.
