Chapter 32: I would go for Bianca

Ryan spoke and the left the room.

Romeo stayed in the room still angry about that issue and entered his bed to sleep.

The following day, Romeo got up early and went for work. He left without breakfast as he was now used for his mother's absence due to the hospital thing.

Romeo's eyes snapped open as he stepped into his office, still feeling a lingering sense of unease from the previous day's argument with his mother.

He took a deep breath, shaking off the tension as he made his way to his desk.

As he entered the waiting area, his gaze fell upon a stunning young woman, clad in a sleek black dress that accentuated her curves.

Her makeup was impeccable, and her bright smile lit up the room. Romeo's eyes widened slightly as he took in the sight of her.

"Good morning, Mr. Walter," she said, extending a manicured hand for a handshake.

"I'm Bianca, the new intern. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Romeo's handshake was firm, but his eyes lingered on Bianca's face for a fraction of a second longer than necessary.

Wilson, Romeo's assistant, couldn't help but notice the way Romeo looked at Bianca, a hint of interest sparking in his eyes.

Wilson raised an eyebrow, a knowing glint in his eye. He had worked with Romeo long enough to recognize the signs of attraction.

And it was clear that Romeo was already taken with the beautiful Bianca.

Romeo smiled warmly as he greeted Bianca, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"Good morning, Bianca. Welcome to Walter Hotels. We're glad to have you on board."

He gestured to Wilson, who handed him a folder containing Bianca's assignment details. Romeo flipped through the pages, nodding as he outlined Bianca's duties.

"Okay, Bianca, you'll be working on our marketing team. Your desk is just over there," he said, pointing to a sleek, modern workstation.

"You'll be assisting with social media management, event planning, and some administrative tasks."

Bianca listened intently, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. As Romeo finished speaking, she smiled brightly, her lips curving upwards in a radiant, vain smile.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Walter," she said, her voice husky and confident. "I'm thrilled to be working with the Walter Hotels team. I won't let you down."

Romeo smiled back at her, his eyes lingering on her face for a moment before he nodded and turned to Wilson. "Wilson, please show Bianca to her desk and get her settled in. I have a meeting to attend to."

As Wilson led Bianca away, Romeo watched her go, his eyes narrowing slightly as he wondered what lay beneath her polished, confident exterior.

After settling in Bianca, Wilson walked back into Romeo's office, a knowing glint in his eye.

"Romeo, I couldn't help but notice the way you looked at Bianca," he said, his voice low and discreet.

Romeo leaned back in his chair, a hint of a smile on his lips.

"I promised my mother I wouldn't get involved with women again," he said, his voice laced with regret.

"Otherwise, I would have definitely gone for Bianca."

Wilson raised an eyebrow, his expression serious.

"Romeo, it's not just about promising your mother. You're married now. You have a responsibility to Trina."

Romeo's expression turned cold, his eyes narrowing.

"Trina means nothing to me, Wilson. She's just a convenient arrangement. And soon, I'll be divorcing her."

Wilson's eyes widened in surprise, but he said nothing, knowing better than to pry into Romeo's personal life.

Instead, he nodded discreetly and changed the subject.

"Shall I schedule a meeting with the marketing team to discuss the new campaign?"

" Mm, Do that." Romeo agreed.

It was in the noon when Trina got a call from Ryan as she was standing at the counter of her restaurant.

Trina's phone rang, and she smiled as she saw "Mrs. Walter" on the screen. "Hello, Mother," she answered, her voice warm and friendly.

"Trina, dear, I hope you're doing well," Ryan said, her voice equally warm.

" Yes Mom.." She answered.

"I was thinking, since your mother is being discharged from the hospital this evening, why don't you come with me to pick her up?"

Trina's heart swelled with gratitude towards Ryan.

"That's so kind of you, Mother. I'd love to come with you," she replied, already making mental preparations for the evening.

As Trina entered the hospital room, she was greeted by the warm smile of her mother, Meble, who was seated in a wheelchair, already dressed and ready to go home.

Ryan, Trina's mother-in-law, was standing beside her, helping with the final preparations.

Trina's face lit up with joy as she rushed over to her mother's side. She squatted down beside the wheelchair, taking Meble's hands in hers.

"Mom, you're finally coming home!" Trina exclaimed, her voice filled with emotion.

Meble's eyes sparkled with happiness as she looked at her daughter.

Trina leaned in, her voice taking on a softer tone.

"Don't worry, Mom. I'll take good care of you, just like I've been doing. We'll get you all settled in at home, and I'll make sure you have everything you need."

Meble's face relaxed into a contented smile, and she squeezed Trina's hands gently.

"Thank you, dear," she whispered, her voice weak but full of gratitude.

Ryan smiled warmly at Trina and Meble. "Alright, you two, off you go! Get Meble settled in at home."

Trina nodded, smiling back at Ryan. "Thanks, Mother," she said, before turning to Meble. "Let's get you home, Mom."

With a gentle push, Trina began to wheel Meble's chair towards the parking lot. As they walked, Trina chatted with her mother, asking about her comfort and making sure she was doing okay.

Once they reached the car, Trina helped Meble settle in, making sure she was secure and comfortable for the ride home.

With a final check, Trina got in behind the wheel and started the engine, pulling out of the parking lot and heading towards the Walter's mansion.

As they settled into the mansion, Candy efficiently carried Meble's clothing to her new room, while Trina gently led Meble to the plush sofa in the living room.

Ryan joined them, and the three sat down together, surrounded by the opulent decor of the mansion.

Meble's eyes widened as she took in the grandeur of her surroundings. She couldn't believe that her daughter had married into such a kind and wealthy family. The lavish furnishings, exquisite artwork, and sparkling chandeliers all seemed to whisper tales of luxury and refinement.

Turning to Ryan, Meble's voice was filled with gratitude. "Thank you so much for letting me stay here, Ryan. Your home is truly magnificent."

Ryan's face softened with a warm smile. "Meble, you're now a part of our family. You don't need to thank me. This is your home now, too."

Trina smiled not believing Ryan's kindness.
