Battle in Chaos.

Retreating slightly to have a better position overlooking the battlefield, I fully mobilized my Path of Ordination. In Chaos, I always use my Aeonic form, so I didn't need to change into it, though the sudden influx of power alarmed both the Outer God and the slime.

My plan of action was nothing illogical. I needed to get rid of the chaotic aspect that prevented me from dealing any damage to Outer God, and as my Ordination was created from my wish to control reality, it's the perfect tool for the job.

To create order from chaos, I would use my Path to define every element of Outer God's power, slowly changing its nature. Defining every element of the infinite set allows me to define the whole set, and that would not only allow me to fully understand what this Outer God is but, more importantly, restrict his power by nature of it being quantified by my definitions.

This was why the greater the power, the vaguer it would appear. If you can definitely identify the limits and strengths of power, then you can restrict or seal it, and for Transcendent beings, being suppressed and sealed was the greatest danger. This was why, despite being more of an auxiliary power, my Path was much more dangerous to powerful beings than Nihility or Destruction.

One by one, I striped the chaos from the Outer God, leaving the weirdness and absurdity revealed to the world. The next step was to either kill or seal my opponent. While I had more sealing abilities in my repertoire, this Outer God was too 'weird' for any seal to be effective, and even if the sealing was successful, it would affect the surrounding, corrupting nearby words.

Because of that, I decided that attempting to kill it would bring a better outcome. Luckily, this Outer God was not an Aeon or god of Faith, so slaying its real form would be enough to kill it.

Drawing upon my connection with Kindred, I manifested End in the form that suited me the most: a sword. Weighing the created weapon in my hand, I smiled slightly, remembering the time when I used swords almost exclusively. A short moment later, I returned my focus to Outer God trashing around. With the sword in my right hand and [Oath of Silence] in my left, I started walking toward the Outer God with slow and steady steps, trying to imitate Jingliu's Sword Intend and Dao with my own techniques and understanding.

Responding to my aura, the Laws around started to stir, and soon, the whole world shone in colorful aurora. With my every step, a slight ripple spread through the Souls around. Compared to Jingliu, I was still lacking in my Sword Intent and lacked Dao to use it, but my sheer power was able to achieve a domain akin to hers, though it carried characteristics connected to me, not ice and moon that Jingliu visualizes.

Rising the sword, I made one last step forward before slashing. There was no flare to my attack, a simple slash at the Outer God, but the outcome was anything but.

The monstrosity instantly halted its actions, and after seconds of stillness, it started to disintegrate into fly ash. As it was about to disappear, it suddenly regrew what had just dissipated, returning to its full form and resuming the fighting. Instantly abandoning the idea of killing it this way, I formulated a plan combining two previous approaches.

Swinging the sword once again, I split a part of the Outer God in a way that fooled it into believing it was still attached, preventing the Outer God from regenerating. When it was separated, I shook [Oath of Silence] and mobilized Al'maiesh to seal that piece. After a short moment, a greyish crystal seemingly covered with sticky goo appeared between bands of the Al'maiesh.

To secure the crystal in place, I created a tree specially attuned to resist and contain corruption. It wrapped some branches around the crystal, reinforcing the already existing seal. With this small piece confirming the feasibility of my plan, I started to seal the Outer God part by part, slowly growing a twisted tree in its place.

The battle was not that difficult. From the start, the Outer God was not as strong as Aeon, so defeating it was never the issue. Keeping it from running away and possibly returning in the future was what I had to ensure, so that is why I had a slight trouble. Luckily, this is why I'm investing in sealing to such an extent so that any possible crisis could be smothered in the cradle.

In total, I needed to divide the Outer God into millions of fragments before it was fully sealed. Now, before me was a giant twisted tree that seemed to wring and oze with indescribable weirdness. While it looks rather ghastly, it was a pinnacle of beauty when compared to the Outer God it contains.

As I was confirming that the seal was fully functional, the slime I had seen before approached me carefully.

-"Ehh... You..."-The slime asked while trying to analyze me with its powers.

~"I suggest you stop your abilities. It's outright offensive to use analyzing abilities without the consent of others."

-"Sorry."-The blue figure instantly apologized and stopped his actions.

~"I was passing by when I saw your battle and decided to get involved, as securing a specimen of a Transcendent being was something I had been trying to achieve for some time already."

-"I see. Nonetheless, I have to thank you. I'm Rimuru, a slime."

~"Your thanks might be a little too early."

-"Huh?"

~"The world you seem to come from is on the brink of destruction. The aftermaths of your fight were too great for it."

-"What?! How..?"

~"I'll help you to stabilize it, but I won't do anything more. You should guard against any remnants of the weirdness that had hidden in the world."~I spoke as the antlers appeared over my head, and the Power of Abundance started to spread around.

Under my guidance, I created a Tree of Life in the Rimuru's world. It will stabilize the currently damaged world and slowly heal it while providing me with some benefits due to the symbiotic relation I forcefully forget between it and the injured World Spirit of this world.

~"Done. I'll take my leave for now, but if you wish to contact me later, come to the tree on your world and use some of your power to call me."

-"Ehh?"

Deciding not to waste more time, I continued my travel while leaving the surprised slime behind. I also didn't forget to take the sealed Outer God with me.

-"Cough, cough..."

~"You all right? Tsunade?"

-"Cough. I wasn't expecting the air here to be so bad. It tastes awful. Cough."-Answered Tsunade while coughing.

-"Sorry..."-Umi said with a lowered head.

-"It's not that bad. My world is similar."-Stephen commented after looking around.

-"A little more 'normal' than mine, but yeah, nothing surprising."-Accelerator agreed with him.

-"The air feels similar to when I traveled with a train. Not pleasant, but you can get used to it."-Shinobu also added while patting Tsunade's back.

~"You should be overly sensitive to pollution due to your closeness with nature, especially your recently awakened wood style that heightened your sensitivity."~I analyzed while using some of my power to purify the air around us.~"I'll make sure you won't feel any discomfort."

-"Thanks, I'll do so."

~"Then, Umi, what is your plan?"

-"Ah, Yes! Everyone else from Muse should be already at school. I need to go and help them."-Umi looked at the clock nearby.

-"Can we also help you?"-Asked Rias.

-"This..."-Umi tried to look for any reason to reject us politely, but before she could come up with anything, we got the hint.

-"Then what should we do?"-Kirari looked around.

-"Let's go shopping!"-Elysia jumped in front of everyone.

-"That's a good idea."-Rias agreed with the Pink Fairy.

It quickly became apparent that girls decided to keep together, so I looked at the guys, as they were not interested in becoming mules carrying shopping.

-"Got any excuse, Yue?"-Accelerator asked pointedly.

~"Hmm... I have an idea."~I turned to the girls.~"Elysia, after you finish shopping, let's meet in Eden's place."

-"Eh? You plan to visit her?"

~"She had already invited me a few times, but I had yet to visit, so why not use this occasion? After all, I'm the biggest shareholder in her Talent Agency."

-"How come you have this world money?"-Arisu asked as she noticed a problem with me, a person from another world, possessing not only money but even an identity to be an entrepreneur in this world.

~"I created an identity using my powers. As for money, few can compare with me in cyberspace. Add to that little divination and stocks, and you have it."

-"You might not know it, but Yue has some hidden assets in each of your worlds."-Elysia giggled as she revealed this information.

~"Indeed, if you are in need, feel free to ask for some assistance."

-"Oh my, you hid such a thing from me? I feel betrayed."-Kirari acted shocked.

I rolled my eyes at her little performance.

-"But Talent Agentc, huh? I see that someone is really concerned about our dear Umi."-Tsunade smiled while looking at me.

~"You are right. I'm worried about her and her friends. Some of you might know what the entertainment industry is like, especially for young, attractive women. As Eden wanted to do something aside from her duties, I suggested creating a company here, as her expertise and care can help, if not even save many."

-"The entertainment industry is indeed a dark place."-Arisu fully agreed with me on this issue.

~"Let's not dwell on that right now. You guys want to come with me?"

-"Sure, I hope we can find a place to sit down there."-Sora spoke while his sister shook his arm to get his attention.

~"Then let's split. Your group will go shopping while I'll take the rest to meet Eden."

-"Great."-Elysia smiled and then stepped in front of me and extended her hand.

Not needing to be told what she wanted, I gave her some money for them to enjoy, and soon after, we split and started to walk toward Eden's company.

We needed to walk for around ten minutes to arrive at our destination. Eden's talent agency was located a few streets away from the busy street, so one could still hear the city bustle from here. The company building itself was nothing special, a typical modern highrise office building, though the inside was modified to include more rooms fit for training and even a stage for some events.

After we entered, I approached the help desk, wanting to notify Eden of my arrival, but before I could speak, I heard someone arguing nearby.

-"I already rejected you many times. Leave me alone!"-A girl with short gray hair spoke angrily.

-"But..."-An average-looking man wearing a big-name brand suit tried to speak.

-"Not buts! Please, stop pestering me!"-The girl didn't give a chance, once again rejecting him outright.

-"She's right. Leave!"-Another girl, who seemed a little ill despite her wealthy appearance, spoke up.

-"Don't you feel ashamed..? An almost thirty-year-old man... chasing after a teenage girl..?"-The third girl spoke slowly, almost forgetting what she was talking about in the middle of her speech.

-"No need to waste words on him. Let's just throw him out."-This time, the person who spoke was someone familiar to me, the Cloud Knight Sushang.

Deciding that it's better to find an acquittance rather than an unknown secretary, I approached the 'young' Cloud Knight. When I was a few steps away, she noticed me, trying to salute me out of habit, but as I didn't want to attract too much attention, I stopped her.

-"Your Maj..."

~"It's good to see you too, Sushang."~I interrupted her before she could blaber my title.~"Excuse my interruption, but could you notify Eden of my arrival?"

-"Ah! Miss Eden is in the middle of a class right now. I will go and ask her to come."-Sushang almost instantly wanted to rush and complete the task given.

~"Class, huh? Then just take me to her. You guys?"~I asked, turning to my companions.

-"Nah, we'll sit somewhere to relax."-Accelerator answered and walked toward a comfortable-looking couch.

Rest also followed him, leaving me alone with the now staring-at-me girls and the middle-aged man.

-"Your friend, Sis Sushang?"-Asked the wealthy-looking girl.

-"Ehh... No..?"

~"We are acquainted, but due to seniority, it's hard to talk about any friendship between us. Our relationship is one between employer and an employee."~I answered the girl.

-"Yes! Right, let me introduce you properly. This is Yue, my boss. Boss, this is Chitose Kurosaki, Chiyo Shirayuki, Anastasia, and Yukimi Sajo."

-"Yue? Are you Chinese? My, where are my manners? I'm Chitose Kurosaki, it's a pleasure to meet you."-The wealthy-looking girl was first to speak after the introductions.

-"Да, I'm Anastasia."-The gray-haired girl also greeted me.

-"Hello... Yukimi Sajo."-The sleepy girl continued the greetings, though she lost a few words in the middle.

~"Happy to make an acquaintance, I'm Yue. As for your question, no, I'm not Chinese."

As I answered, I noticed that the last girl behaved a little strangely. While the rest of the girls whom I just met were surprised and curious, she was outright shocked and even afraid. Finding this strange, I took a closer look and noticed that her gaze never stayed on me directly but just behind me.

I knew that there was no one standing behind me, so that signaled that she could see my hidden tails, which genuinely surprised me. Wanting to know more, my eyes momentarily gleamed with aurora, and soon, I understood what was going on.

~"Sigh, to think I would meet such anomaly here. That complicates things a little. You should be Chiyo Shirayuki, right? No need to be afraid. I'll explain what you see later, but for everyone's comfort, let's find Eden first."

Due to me addressing the quiet girl, the rest also noticed that something was wrong.

-"What the matter, Chiyo?"-Chitose asked concerned.

-"..."-Chiyo looked me in the eyes and nodded after a moment, agreeing to my idea.-"It's nothing, Ojou-sama."

-"You are lying. Have you met Yue somewhere before?"-Chitose continued with her concerns.

-"Let's find Eden first."-Sushang spoke, wanting to prevent the atmosphere from degrading any further.-"I'll lead the way."

The girls followed closely after her, keeping their distance from me and looking wary. Not taking that to heart, I also followed, and after a few staircases, we entered a spacious room with mirrors lining one wall.

Inside, aside from Eden, who was explaining how to expand one voice range, a group of girls of varying ages listened intently to the lesson. Our entrance was quickly noticed, and when Eden looked at us, she spoke out with a smile.

-"Yue, you finally visited."

~"Yes, sorry for interrupting your lesson."

-"Don't mind it. How about joining us?"

~"I'm not exactly a singer."

-"But there is no better musician than you that I know of. Would you join me as my répétiteur for the remainder of the class?"

~"So that is your idea? Why not. I have time to spend."~I agreed, sitting in front of a piano while checking it for any issues.

Eden explained some things to her students, reminding them to focus on our show and take inspiration from it for their own future performances. When she was ready to start, she nodded in my direction, and so the first note sounded in the room.
