Hvítreiðr, Western Gate
With the construction of Björnheim underway and a road project linking the two settlements, the western gate had become the busiest part of the city in recent months. Many small clans migrating along the road had been troubled by suicidal raiders, so under Lord Ülgen's command, a group of dragon-blooded warriors and dozens of other soldiers patrolled regularly to maintain order.
Recently, though, these raids had begun to dwindle. The deer-mounted cavalry under Lothi's command had excelled in subduing and securing the clans. Consequently, the population divided between the two settlements had grown rapidly. Additionally, another deer cavalry unit under Udin's command guarded the refugees coming from Vinumregnum to the south.
