Drake Motak

The Northern Glaciers

At the summit of an average-sized mountain, a majestic magical creature was resting. Standing twelve meters tall, with a reptilian frame and thick scales, it could easily be mistaken for a young dragon by the uninitiated, especially if it had wings. Its gray, scale-like skin evoked the presence of dragons and exuded an intimidating aura. Unfortunately, it was no dragon but a drake—a beast born of dragons' unrestrained, cross-species desires.

Drakes were magical beings descended from dragonkind. Blessed with long lifespans, powerful bodies comparable to dragons, and in some variants, the ability to unleash breath attacks, they were formidable creatures. However, their intelligence couldn't match even the least-respected dragons, such as white dragons. That said, as drakes aged, their growing bodies brought increased intellect and wisdom. Thus, some drakes who lived for centuries could rival dragons in cunning.
