“Tessa is from the countryside, I bet her family are local farmers... She can't do anything. Come to think of it, she never told me anything about her family. Perhaps they are beggars! In the countryside”



Olivia George screamed. 

“Tessa, you will pay for this, I will show you that I am from the George family!”



Olivia's quivering tone was heard. 

“David... I... I... thought you said she is from the countryside, her family are beggars! right? cos what in the devil's name is going on”

“I forgot to introduce myself. I am Tessa Wood. From the number one mafia family in the country”



“Tessa, you would be crowned the next heir to the Wood family, but you have to marry somebody from the military, that is your grandfather's last request”

Olivia looked straight into Tessa's eyes without a single trace of fear, why would she be afraid when she had the numbers on her side?

Tessa had only three men, while she had eight men behind her. She didn't say anything because she was waiting for her bodyguards to show up, now that they were here, she had nothing to be afraid of.

Fear could be seen on many people's faces when Olivia voiced out, they had already sent the amount they were willing to pay to Tessa, if they knew it would come to this, they would have left the party immediately.

Olivia could see the commotion her words caused, she smiled facing the crowds.

"Send a message back that you are no longer interested"

Almost everyone hurriedly brought their phone out and started typing fast, in no time, Tessa's phone started vibrating because of the numerous messages coming in.
