Chapter 9

Once we got to her house she told me to stay over and we'd watch some k-dramas. I quickly agreed because I could never stay no to k-dramas or my best friend. Anne gave me some time her clothes to change into and we decided to make a little feast and then watch k-dramas. We made made bangers and mash and for dessert me made some cupcakes. After cooking we laid the table and ate till we were stuffed. I looked at Anne and she smiled. I always loved that smile of her's.

After the feast we both went to take our shower and get ready for k-drama. After showering had to make some popcorn for the night so I went to the kitchen and got started. I was almost died when Anne's phone started ringing, it was an unknown number I wondered who it could be. Anne upon hearing the phone ring rush to picture it up and smiled just before answering the call. I gave her a questioning look and smiled she in turn smiled back.

I went back to what I was preoccupied with. I was now curious who that could have been. I kept the popcorn in a big bowl, removed a big container of ice cream from the fridge and went over to the living room where Anne was seated. I placed the items down and sat by her. "Okay, Jasmine I know you really curious to know who called right"Anne said. I just nodded my head in excitement. " Okay so remember the guy I told you helped me escape ". Yh, yh.. Umm you said he was called Felix or something.. " I answered. "Yes Felix that's his name, so I gave him my phone number because he said he to check up on me and make sure I had reached home and was alright".Really! " I said grinning. "I don't know but am now realizing how handsome Felix was" Anne confessed. " Jass you know, that night all I wanted was to get out of that place and I didn't really care how or who helped me, so I didn't notice Felix physical features until the next morning when I woke up and he called me to check if I was doing alright " Anne said. "What does that mean now do you have a crush on him perhaps"I asked. " Nope" Anne said with a disgusted look on her face. "Okay, okay no need to overact I totally understand you"." We're just friends and I'd introduce you to him in due time"Anne said and I nodded. We setup everything and were about to eat when Anne suddenly asked. "Jass how did you get home that night". " Okay so it's a long story but I'd tell you anyways, so I stayed in the bar for a long time and they were about to close so the bartender asked to me to leave and since I drunk so much he offered to take me home but I declined and since you weren't coming or picked my calls I got so pissed and left. When I got to the car park I remembered the keys were with you. "By the way where's the car now" I inquired. "Oh that I made Felix pick it up and send to the mechanics because it had a flat tire, l'll bring it to you tomorrow". Anne said. " Oh don't worry about that just tell me where is is I'll go get it myself you need to focus on yourself after what happened "." Okay then" Anne replied.
