  Aria’s perspective

  “We have somewhere to be today,” Neon’s warm breath fluttered the strands of hair on my forehead when he spoke.

  I was still on the bed but he was already dressed, I didn’t know when he left the bed.

  Hold on.

  He said we.

  “Where are we going?” I asked, looking up at him through my lashes.

  “To see someone special to me.” He smiled at me, my cheeks were probably a bright shade of red now.

  “And before I forget...” He stood up from the bed and walked up to his desk, opened the drawers, and brought out an envelope. He opened it, and strolled over to the bed, taking the spot next to me.
