The Long Night Ahead

"Babe, you didn't have to do all this,"

Alexia said, her voice filled with appreciation, as she gazed at the romantic setup in the hotel room.

"I've forgiven you. But you should trust me, if you really care about me."

Bryan's eyes locked onto hers, filled with devotion.

"I know you've forgiven me, Alexia. But I wanted to make it up to you, to show you how much you mean to me as a friend. Trust is something I'm working on,

I promise. You deserve all the love and trust in the world, and I'm committed to giving that to you, as your husband."

As they both scared at eachother,Bryan excused himself to go to the toilet.

Just then, Alexia's phone rang. She hesitated for a moment before answering it.

"Hello?"

"Heather, it's Bruno, the housekeeper,"

the voice on the other end said, sounding somber.

"I'm so sorry to tell you this, but...your father's been attacked. He's in a coma."
