18. Secret Rendezvous

Chusi, who was watching their display from the sideline couldn't help but clenched her teeth in irritation. She could see he doesn't seem to maintain so much hard demeanor around his sister. He even let her hugged him. Nisha was so green with envy now.

Levi understands. "Okay, little princess. I really need to go now. I'll see you later" He pat her head and disentangle her arms gently and make his way up the stairs without looking back.

Chusi stared after him until he disappeared up the stairs without even sparing her another glance. Her hands clenched at her sides. Humiliation. This is humiliation.

She turned back from the stairs to go but only to be stopped by Nerida.

"Princess Chusi, it's really nice to finally meet you" Nerida had a bright smile plastered on her face. "I hope you're not offended by my brother's attitude earlier, he's always been like that, especially around people that he's not familiar with" Nerida said it sweetly but was actually making a point with her statement.

Chusi forced a smile "Of course not. I understand" She's burning with jealousy but try to keep a stiff smile on her face. If she wants to be with Levi, she'd have to tolerate his sister first and after she became the Queen, she can deal with her as she pleases.

She turned to go again but was interrupted again "Do you like my brother?"

"Excuse me?" Chusi frowned in confusion. Where was this coming from?

"Oh please don't give me that look. I know you like him. Which girl in her right senses wouldn't like my brother, anyway?"

Chusi frowned in displeasure. Wondering where the spoiled princess was going with this.

"Oh! Don't look so offended. I wasn't trying to be rude but I have to say that earlier the scent of your arousal was really very strong. Remember we all have a strong sense of smell and I'm sure you wouldn't want my brother to know your panties were already wet just by talking to him alone. That'll be really embarrassing." Nerida smiled at her beautifully. She understood what her brother mean by taking care of her. And that's exactly what she's doing right now.

Chusi's face heated in embarrassment " you..." She didn't know her aroused state was so evident. What if Levi had smelled her? Is that why he had looked at her with such disgust on his face?

" Of course, I'm just saying. I didn't mean anything by it. But you might want to be a little bit more restrained next time you're in the presence of my brother, though. After all, he's a very special man with very special tastes" Nerida taunted " And it's already obvious he doesn't like you but if you keep pushing yourself on him like you did earlier tonight, my brother is never going to like you." She smile brightly when she saw the furious look on Chusi's face.

That's what she wants. To let her understand she's nothing in her brother's eyes and to stop keeping false hope.

"Now if you'd excuse me, I'll be taking my leave. You can come with me if you want or stay and enjoy the banquet." still smiling, Nerida walked away with a sway of her hips.

People looking at their interaction would think Nerida was being nice, with the bright smile plastered on her face. Only Chusi knows the spoilt bitch was taunting her.

Chusi clenched her hands, her face was red in anger. Nails digging into her palms, her chest heaving in fury. The idea of trying to get along with Levi's sister already forgotten. Infact, if she wasn't his sister, Chusi would have pounced on her already. When had she ever suffer such humiliation in all her life?

She'd been utterly embarrassed earlier by Levi and could only keep her grievances to herself because of the bigger picture and now, his sister also had utterly humiliated her in the worst way possible.

She growled deeply in her throat already forgetting her image but before she could do anything, Kieran interrupted her.

" Princess Chusi, can I have a minute of your time " Kieran asked politely with a smile. He'd been waiting patiently for her to be alone.

"Of course." She breathed deeply and restrain her emotions for now. She'll be able to deal with Nerida soon enough. "Follow me after a few minutes but don't make it obvious" She said and turned around towards the exit.

Kieran was excited. He'd been watching her since she left him to go to Levi and waiting for an opportunity to be with her. To be sincere, he still find her the most attractive of a the girls here tonight. Which is why he's excited to finally have this chance with her.

He waited for a few more minutes, making sure nobody was looking before quickly walking out of the Hall.

He followed her scent to the Apple orchard and found her waiting for him under a tree.

He walked up to her "Chusi" he breathed and engulfed her in a warm hug.

She immediately pushed him back. "I need..."

"I know just what you need, my princess. I also needed that. Been waiting for too long." he replied before she could finish and pushed her roughly back against the tree.

He lifted her dress and shove her panties aside. Trusting two fingers roughly inside her, he found her already dripping.

"You're so wet already, Chusi. Have you been thinking about me or is it King Levi?" he asked as he fingered her hard and fast. He knew she liked it rough.

" What? you can't be serious, right? " he looked at her shocked and realized why she'd asked him not to talk to her at the banquet.

He'd even missed her when he was traveling the realms and after seeing her looking so beautiful tonight he'd been considering telling his father to help him request for her hand in marriage. He believed they could grow to love each other eventually after they're together but this...He was dumbfounded.

" I'm serious and this engagement is important to me. That's why we can't be seen together "

Kieran looked at her for a few minutes then burst out in laughter " You can't seriously believe that king Levi, the most wealthy and most powerful King of Midgard will choose to marry you among other princesses, Nisha? You? C'mon, Chusi, let's be realistic here. He doesn't even like you. I saw the way he treated you earlier, is there a willing man living who doesn't even know what his bride to be looked like? don't be, silly, girl. What makes you think he will marry you when there are lots of other beauties vying for his attention? " Kieran looked at her like she's lost her mind. She just used him and dropped the bomb on him. How can she be so cruel.

" Well, it's not as if you like me either. We both know we're just taking what we needed from each other. So let's end this conversation here and avoid each other as much as possible in the future. Levi will be choosing no one else but me. I'm going to make sure of that. So you have nothing to worry about" Chusi replied looking smug.
