22. The mad King

" There were no guards when i came in, your majesty" princess Rhea hastily replied and forced a smile. She felt stung to hear him refer to her as a stray cat. She was princess Rhea, for God's sake! every young dragon in her Kingdom wants to be with her! but of course she knows better than to say that out in front of this big dragon, so she kept her cool.

Levi remembered he'd given his personal guards a couple of hours off to enjoy the festive night in the palace since he was sure no one would dare to bother him anyway, but he hadn't expected there would be another stupid princess courting her death.

" I don't like to repeat myself. So I'd like you to answer my question now and very fast. What are you doing in here? " He stalked slowly towards her then like a predator. His footsteps was light despite being a big man.

Chusi was petrified, feeling a small tinge of fear in her heart. Although she tried her best to appear calm as he approached. It seems this man is as difficult as the rumour says but the fact that he hasn't raised his voice on her yet or send her out of his room, means she still has a chance.

So she quickly regained her composure and walk up to him, swaying her hips seductively. " I brought you dinner, your majesty, and I also brought you myself." She stopped in front of him and fluttered her lashes with a smile. She has figured there was no use lieing in the face of such an intelligent man who's actually looking at her right now as if he could see through her. She bet he can already guess why she was there, so lieing was definitely not going to help her. Better to come out clean.

Levi looked at her coldly from up to down with disgust in his eyes. He wondered if she has ever really looked at herself in the mirror.

Seeing as he was silent, Chusi gained a little bit of confidence and continued. She wanted to touch him so bad, but drop the idea at his deathly glare "I've watched you since the auction and then at the banquet. You're the most beautiful man I've ever seen and powerful too. I couldn't control myself, your majesty. I thought i had to give myself to you. Since it's obvious you do not want princess Chusi, you can have me instead. I would do anything you want me to do your majesty. Anything." She gulped looking at his plump red lips. She could already feel herself dripping just from standing so close to him with his intoxicating masculine scent assaulting her senses. Infact she wouldn't mind letting him take her right then and there.

Levi could barely hold himself from puking at the terrible stink of her arousal. Heavens! How could this girls smell so nauseatingly disgusting.

" You're courting death" he said through gritted teeth. His body was drawn taunt with barely restrained furry "Get out now before I loose it."

He could already feel his dragon pushing beneath his skin. His dragon hated her scent too.

Rhea blinked in shock for a mint and then decided to try again. She couldn't just give up so easily now that she was here and had the chance. " Your, majesty..." She called in a sultry voice looking at the king with lust filled eyes from under her lashes. She raised her hand to touch him. " I can please you..."

Levi lost it. He grabbed her in the neck so fast before she could finish and register what was happening.

Rhea widened her eyes in shock at his sudden aggression. She choked as his fingers tightened around her neck cutting off her air supply and making her face red.

Rhea and clawed at his hand in a desperate attempt to free herself. " Your...your majesty?"

He'd been fine just now, what happened? why was he suddenly getting so aggressive with her.

" I would say, you're really bold. You must really think you're something since you've manage to sneak your way in here like a rat. But have you ever really looked at yourself in the mirror? Has no one ever told you how horrible you smell? I mean, what makes you think you're worthy of me? What makes you think I'll ever want to have anything to do with a disgusting thing like you, anyway? Oh, or because my father has invited you lot now, you probably think we are in the same league now, is that it? you lowly thing!

" Levi threw her hard against the wall after that without giving a fuck if she breaks her neck.

Chusi screamed as she landed with an impact, feeling her body rattled in pain. She quickly scrambled back towards the door in fear as Levi stalked slowly towards her again like a predator. Now she was really afraid. She remembered how he he'd dealth with those men at the auction earlier and began to truly trembled in fear. She realized she'd made a terrible miscalculation. She'd thought he'd at least not be so violent towards women but turned out she was wrong. He doesn't give a fuck about anyone.

"I bet nobody knows you're here." Levi looks down at her with an eery smile. "For you to come into my chambers so confidently without an invitation, it's obvious you're not afraid of death"

Chusi began really trembling when she heard that. This man is a monster. She could see his eyes glowing again. Just like at the auction earlier, when he'd killed those men.

"Oh are you finally afraid now? It's too late. I could kill you right now and no one will ever know about it."

Chusi shivered in fear and realized she'd made a terrible, terrible mistake. This man is not to be truffled with. With that murderous look in his eyes, he could really kill her now and no one would know how she died! She looked around and scrambled to her feet, trying to run towards the door.

She should have listened to her father, she shouldn't have come here. She had thought she could seduce him, she had thought he would fall for her charms but it seems Levi was really as dangerous as the rumors says. She should really have got out when she had the chance. Now she's going to die and nobody will ever know how she died.

She reached the door and try to open but Levi was faster, he grabbed her hair roughly from behind. Chusi screamed again.

Levi looked her in the eyes. She was crying and her makeup were already a mess. But he felt no pity. Someone has to teach one of them girls a lesson one of these days. If not he'd really have no peace.

" You should really have thought about it before you came in here to pollute my room." He opened the door, looked at her face with a disgusted expression and threw her out by the hair like a rag doll.

Rhea landed hard face first on the red carpeted floor of the hallway startling Jasper and three other princesses who were trying to get through to the king's chamber.

" Rhea? Is that you, Rhea? Why are you here? what happened to you?" One of the princesses who knew her asked in shock.

Rhea's forhead was bleeding from hitting her forehead during the fall and her hair was all over the place. She looked like a mess.

" Your majesty" jasper called when Levi walked out with two trays of food in his hands. Jasper watched with an open mouth as the king dumped both trays on Rhea who screamed again as the hot soup scalded her head. Her yellow dress was dirty and soiled now. She looked nothing like the princess who was beautiful at the banquet not so long ago.

Levi turned to Jasper who was still too shocked to understand what was going on and said. "Throw her in the dungeons. She sneaked into my chambers without permission. Tomorrow, i want both her legs." Levi had never laid his hands on a woman before, but tonight this bitch just made him break that record by pushing his limit. That alone makes him grew more angry by the second. He had to make an example of one of these princesses if he ever wanted to have peace in his own damn palace.

The three princesses screamed in terror and ran for their lives leaving Rhea there in her sorry state.

" She touched my dinner, send me another set of dishes. And those servants that let her in, send them to the dungeons as well. I don't want incompetent people by my side" he instructed and turned back to his room leaving jasper there to deal with the aftermath of his wrath.

Jasper watched him disappeared into his chambers, too stunned to fully process what had just happened. After a while he turned to Rhea, who was still crying profusely and shook his head.
