I already have you, Bella

The morning sun filtered through the curtains as Bella woke up feeling refreshed. The past few days had been eventful—wedding planning, shopping, and the unexpected news about her former supervisor's crimes. But today was about something exciting—the final fitting of their wedding attire.

She stretched lazily before getting out of bed. Rachel was still asleep, curled up in her blankets.

Just then, her phone buzzed with a message from Lucas. "Morning, sweetheart. Don't forget about our fitting today. Can't wait to see you in your dress again."

Bella rolled her eyes but couldn't stop the small smile that tugged at her lips. "Good morning. Don't get too excited—it's just a fitting."

"Too late. I'm already thinking about how breathtaking you'll look walking down the aisle." Her heart skipped a beat at his reply. Why is he like this so early in the morning?

By noon, Lucas arrived at the boutique. Bella and Rachel were already waiting inside, sipping coffee and chatting with the designers. Rachel ran up to Lucas, "Mr. Handsome!"

Lucas's face lit up as he scooped Rachel into his arms. "There's my little princess! Are you excited to see your mommy's dress?"

Rachel nodded enthusiastically. "I'll tell you if she looks pretty or not!"

Lucas smirked. "I already know the answer to that."

Bella gave him a playful glare. "Don't be so sure. Maybe I'll look terrible."

Lucas leaned in slightly, voice dropping just for her. "Impossible."

Bella turned away quickly, her cheeks heating up.

Bella stepped into the fitting room, slipping into the wedding dress. The gown hugged her body perfectly, the lace and beading shimmering under the soft lights. That elegant dress moulded perfectly against her body emphasing her curves. The designer helped her with the final adjustments before Bella stepped out.

Everyone turned to look at her, and for a moment, there was pure silence.

Rachel's eyes sparkles after seeing Bella "Mama you look stunning, very beautiful."

She mouthed a thank you to her and look up at Lucas, however, he said nothing. He just stared. She felt like she have seen his eyes like that before too.

Bella shifted uncomfortably under his intense gaze. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Lucas leaned back against the couch, a lazy smirk tugging at his lips. "Just admiring my beautiful bride and my soon-to-be wife."

Bella huffed. "It's just a fitting." Lucas chuckled. "That doesn't make it any less special."

The designer then tied the back strings of the dress but struggled with the final knot.

Bella turned slightly. "Can someone help—"

Before Lucas could step forward, another sales woman was already behind her, securing the strings with ease.

Bella's eyes flickered to Lucas instinctively, remembering the dressing room incident from their shopping trip and then the wedding dress shopping too, where his mother helped her. She looked a bit disappointed though.

This is the second time when she wanted him to help her with her dress but someone else stepped in. Her face turned warm as she made eye contact with him—his lips curled in a knowing smirk, as if he could read her mind. He was definitely thinking about it.

Bella quickly looked away, embarrassed. Rachel, unaware of the tension in the room, clapped her hands. "Mommy looks like a princess!"

Bella smiled at her daughter. "Thank you, sweetheart."

Next, it was Lucas's turn. He changed into his tailored suit and stepped out confidently.

Bella blinked. She had seen him in suits before, but this was something else. Rachel gasped dramatically. "Mr. Handsome looks even more handsome!"

Lucas winked at Rachel. "You have good taste, little one." Bella crossed her arms, pretending to be unaffected. "Not bad."

Lucas raised an eyebrow. "Just 'not bad'?" She shrugged. "I've seen you in suits before. Nothing new."

Lucas grinned wickedly and stepped closer. "Should I take it off, then? Just to surprise you?" Bella's eyes widened. "Lucas!"

Rachel, thankfully distracted by the mirror, didn't catch the teasing remark. Bella, however, hissed. "Lucas, behave."

Bella shot him a glare, but Lucas just smirked. "I can't help it. My fiancée is too cute when she gets flustered."

Later that evening, after Rachel slept peacefully on Bella's lap, Bella and Lucas sat together in the car.

Lucas glanced at her. "You're awfully quiet." Bella sighed, leaning against the seat. "Just thinking."

"About?" She hesitated before smiling softly. "You looked good today." Lucas blinked, then smirked. "Finally admitting it?" Bella rolled her eyes. "Don't push your luck."

Lucas chuckled, reaching over to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. "I don't need luck, Bella. I already have you."

Bella looked away, heart racing. How does he always say things like that so effortlessly? Lucas started the engine. "Let's go home, sweetheart. Rachel needs to sleep on the bed too."

Bella nodded, a small smile on her lips. Maybe this wedding wasn't just happening—maybe it was something she was starting to look forward to.
