CHAPTER NINETEEN: FIND HER OR DIE

 TREVOR POINT OF VIEW 

 "What did I tell you before you left here with my mate!, what was the plan!!, you are my best warrior and I trusted you but what did you do at the first moment of trouble, don't stare at me, speak to me Jossy!,"

My anger was making me so poisonous and frustrated, since the return of the men who I sent to take Tessa away I haven't been able to breathe properly or think straight.

"You are pressing a knife on his neck and asking him to talk , what's wrong with you Trevour? You threw these men into prison, starved them and punished them all because they sold Tessa off to the wrong man, this same man payed double the price."

It was Sylvia who spoke and I had to swallow every thought and urge to jump in her direction and give her a dirty slap, she's too noisy and annoying, but I still need her. She just remain here to make Tessa jealous.

We caused all of this in the first place, lying and scheming all to come between me and my mate and now she still have the guts to speak.

"I wasn't talking to you and I didn't invite you to this meeting, so let yourself out!," it was a low warning as I don't want to show her my true color yet. 

I noticed her sudden teary face and her new stance, she always seat like that whenever she wants to play the victim or manipulate me, it doesn't work anymore though.

" We had no option, he's the Lycan king. The sane one we've heard tapas about, they accused us of coming through their Territory, you insisted that we use the sea route beyond the low mountain and that's their pack boundary my Alpha"

Jossy voice broke into my thoughts about Sylvia, she looked away from me with thick teary eyes before Jossy got my full attention, he had somehow removed his neck from the threat of my knife and is kneeling before me now.

"Who cares if he's the brother to the moon goddess, you knew the plan and my intentions. Do I have to spell it out!," when I screamed at Jossy, the other offenders looked down at their feet at once.

My eyes must be flashing now, just like it always dies whenever I'm furious, but this time I'm traumatized. Saying I don't care that my mate is with the most feared wolf was a big lie but I have to act tough.

"You will return to that place and bring back my woman or else I will slaughter your neck one by one," I was still threatening them, ignoring unbelievable gesture on their faces but I ignored them.

"You cannot be serious now Trevour? What did you call Tessa?, why did you send her off if you don't want her to be bought? Did it matter who buys her?,"

"These people made a good deal and came back home with double money, aren't you happy to be rid of that thing and her family?"

My head kept increasing in size while Sylvia spoke, I stood up and prayed guests her, she wasn't expecting me to pull her up aggressively but I did.

"Take this woman out of here and I don't want to see her around me until I summon for her!, she's too noisy," the order was directed to my main body guard, I wasn't even listening to her cries or emotional shenganians. 

"Look here all of you, I want my woman back, you know the plan. I didn't intend to sell her and Alpha Regor was supposed to keep her in his pack, she's supposed to stay there as my mistress!"

I don't know why I whispered but I wasn't scared of Sylvia heating the secret, maybe it's because I'm so used to keeping her out of my real feelings and plans.

Turning my head right and left to make sure she's no longer in a hearing range. Jossy held my leg to apologize but I shook him off.

"You know I can't live without that woman, she's the aid that I breathe and as much as I wanted to proof to my people that I wouldn't go against my word, I was falling for her,"

"You gave me daily report about her stay in the prison and made sure none of those first men touch her there, I kept her there to keep her away from any man outside the palace, I'm that possessive of Tessa!"

"So why did you let the Lycan king or whoever he is rage my woman, why didn't you let him cut off your neck and feed it to the birds!"

Jossy was shivering, he definitely didn't want to return back to his punishment, I have been so angry and upset that I threw all of them into prison immediately they returned with the sad news.

"My Alpha, you still don't get what I have been trying to tell you. This man is the Lycan king, the same one that spit poison when he's angry, he kills without looking or talking. That man gave us only one option,"

Jossy looked back to the other warriors to help him out, but they dared not, except for the shop driver. She dragged her kneel closer to me before speaking.

"We were almost there My Alpha but the Lycan king shoulder captured us, we didn't see them. They were too big and fast?l!, bloody men I must say, they took us into the pack in blind folds and asked to pick our life or Tessa!,"

"I'm still amazed as to why he only choose her, we had about four other women amidst us, but I don't know," she was still talking when I landed a hit and firm slap on her face.

"You don't know what he sees in my mate?, are you mentally fit?, did I ask you to talk?, have you even heard yourself? Comparing your ugly and pathetic self to my beautiful mate!"

My wolf was the one talking, as much as he's so mad at me for acting like a fool, he wants Tessa back. Even more than me, the silence that covered the atmosphere made me more furious. I felt like tearing off their heads.

"Get up now and take my command before I slice off your head!," I yelled at all of them.
