A cry for help.

(The present)

''I can't believe we became friends because of a picnic.''

''Look, a trail we can walk on.''

After hours of walking in the woods Amari and Apollo finally find a path to walk in. While they are walking, Amari hears footsteps coming from afar. Amari stops tries to hear from which direction they are coming from.

''What? Are we getting closer?''

''No, but there are people coming this direction.''

''Should we hide? I think they won't be able to see us if we get behind the bushes.''

They leave the trail and hide behind a big bush from. The people they were hiding from get closer and closer, they are all walking together while holding their weapons.

''That looks like the Scyl clan.'' Apollo whispers.

The men walk around, looking through the forest and shouting out for someone. Two men get close to the bush that Apollo and Amari were hiding in and start calling for someone.

''Erik!!!... Erik!!''

''Where could he be?''

''ERIK!! Where are you?!''

''Idiot! how would he answer you when he can't hear you?''

''Wouldn't hurt trying.''

Their argument is disrupted by another Scyl man.

''Hey, you two, stop fooling around and start looking.''

''Boss we've looking for him for four days now, maybe we should start considering that he is de-''

''Do you value your warrior?''

''Yes sir!''

''Then I'd suggest you keep your mouth shut and keep searching... Okay everyone! we're moving forward it's clear that no one's here!''

The men start moving to search deeper into the wood. After they were far away Amari and Apollo finally come out of the bush.

''We shouldn't take the road; we'll end up in their village.''

''Why now? Didn't you hear one the men saying they've been moving for four days? which means the village is probably far from here, so we could use for a little while.'' Apollo argues.

''No, we should take that risk, a road exposes us anyways.''

''Okay man.''

They walk deep in the forest and it's starting to become sunrise, they suddenly hear a cry for help from a boy's voice who sounds trapped.

''Did you hear that?''

''Yeah.''

''We should go and see what it is.''

''Why would we want to do that? We should focus on getting Nana back.''

The person shouts again.

''That sounds like the cry for help.''

Apollo decides to follow where the noise is coming from, forcing Amari to go behind him. The person's voice gets closer and closer until they find a pit and hear that the voice is coming from there. Apollo goes to peek at the pit and see a teenage boy sitting there and with a broken ankle.

''Hey!! Hey!! could you please help me out of here?! Please! I'll play you if needed, just get me out here. Please!'' The boy puts his hands together pleading them.

''How did you get stuck here?'' Apollo asks.

''I'll explain to you after you've freed me, just please help me!''

''How do we know it's not a trap?''

''It's not, I think he's hurt too.'' Amari mentions.

''Okay then... how are we going to do this then?''

Amari sees a long and thick tree wood. And drops it in the pit to use it as a ladder for him to go up and down the pit. He goes down and reaches the bottom of the pit, the boy gets on his back, and they move up and he gets them out of the pit.

''Thank you, men. You've helped me a lot.''

''Good for you.'' Amari comments.

''To be honest gentlemen, I never expected a moor to be saving me from this predicament.''

''Should I push him back in?'' Apollo suggests.

''No! No! No! please!''

''Then you should shut your mouth!''

''For your information, I'm the prince of Scyl! I don't deserve to be treated this way.''

''Apollo, we have to go.''

''Wait! Wait! Wait!''

''What do you want?''

''As you can see my ankle is hurt, could you please help me to my village.''

''That's sounds like a problem you can solve on your own.''

The two disappear in the bushes and leave the boy begging for their help.

''Why didn't we help him, the Scyl isn't far from here.''

''If it isn't far then he can get there.''

''You can be so heartless sometime.''
