Laughing Detective in Framing of Bowling Royalty

Joy Bowl

(Thomas, Timmy, Mark, and Freddie talking)

Thomas: I can't believe my baby brother is a famous writer.

Timmy: I'm not famous, a few kids in school just bought some of my books.

Mark: More like half of the school.

Freddie: Yeah you must have a lot of money to spend.

Timmy: Yeah after I calculate and save enough to afford what I want to buy.

Thomas: Instead of having a piggy bank your a boar bank(laughs).

Mark: So did you have any more book ideas?

Timmy: A lot of them but too many to choose.

Thomas: Maybe you can write a story inspired by the Laughing Detective.

Timmy: I don't think that's a good idea.

Thomas: Why?

Timmy: Isn't it obvious.

(A large package for Julie arrives)

Freddie: What is that

Julie: Is my birthday present from my dad. Could you take it to my house please.

(Package is taken to her house)

Freddie: That's your birthday present.

Julie: One of the 50.

Thomas: That's a lot of piñatas (laughs).

Mark: Dang lady where did you get all this money?

Julie: It's been in my family for years. My great great grandfather acquired a large amount of money from a company then with good choices and saving got millions.

Timmy: See saving not only logical but can lead to a lot more money.

Thomas: Yeah for our great great grandchildren.

(A bunch of people walk in)

Julie: I told the other guy to take my house.

Detective James: The only thing we are delivering is you to prison.

Thomas, Timmy, Mark, and Freddie: What!

Julie: For what.

Detective James: I'm a detective and last week a major bank was robbed of millions of dollars. It took some digging but we noticed your bake accounts suddenly spiked in the last few days.

Freddie: This is nonsense.

Mark: Or just plan insanity.

Timmy: They have to have a more rational explanation.

Thomas: I work for Julie and she is the nicest person I have ever met. She's definitely not a criminal mastermind, she shows why blondes are considered stupid. No defense.

Julie:It's the thought that counts.

Detective James: Sorry kids but your word isn't enough to prove her innocence.

Thomas: Maybe not but how about…

(Puts on his detective hat)

Thomas: The Laughing Detective can. You're not the only detective in the room.

Detective James: Listen kid trying distract me isn't going to help.

Thomas: I'm not playing, I'm a real detective and solve a few cases. Tell him Timmy.

Timmy: He's right, he found a raccoon in a dumpster.

Mark: Not the best example, dude.

Detective James: Even if that's true, detective isn't fun and games are recognizing the criminals and I hate to say it but your boss is one of them.

(Police cuff Julie and walk away)

Julie: I'm innocent!

Thomas: We have to find evidence to prove Julie innocent.

Mark: How are they taking her away right now?

Thomas: Not if Timmy distracted them while we do it.

Freddie: How?

Thomas: By going over every legal rule in the book.

Timmy: Great idea detective.

(Timmy walks to Detective James)

Timmy: Detective James if you're really an officer of the law you should do the proper steps before arresting her.

Detective James: Like what?

Timmy: Reading her rights, making sure you follow the laws of the town…

(Timmy talking a lot)

Outside

(Next to a police van)

Mark: House is standing near a police van going to prove Julie is not a criminal.

Thomas: Because James said he has evidence of Julie crimes but if we go over them we can check if were they made any mistakes.

Mark: How are we going to break into a high tech police van?

(Freddie easily pick's the back door locks)

Freddie: After you.

Thomas: Your best sidekick a detective can have.

Freddie: Sidekick?

(All three of them search the van)

Freddie: I don't see anything.

Mark: Maybe there is something on the computer.

Thomas: It won't be easy to access.

Freddie: Let me try, I'm good with computers.

(Freddie access the computer)

Freddie: That's easier than I thought.

Mark: You're on a roll today, Freddie.

Thomas: Quick check Julie file.

Freddie: Their computer systeming needs updating. It seems glitchy. It looks like they have solid evidence on Julie bank accounts being connected to the robbery.

Mark: But Julie is rich, why would she steal?

Freddie: We can't prove it here.

Thomas: Maybe there is something in her house. Quick help Timmy distract the cops while I go look in her house.

Mark: Are sure it might be big.

Thomas: How big can it be?

(Awhile ater)

(Thomas sees Julie big house)

Thomas: Julie isn't paying me enough.

(Police try start there cars but they won't move)

Detective James: What happened to our cars?

(Mark and Freddie handing they oily hands)

Timmy: Now we can go over the rest of this town's laws of imprisonment.

Detective James: Thus bring backs bad police school memories.

Julie House

(Thomas in Julie room)

Thomas: Ok this is the last room I didn't check.

(Thomas looking through the her room)

Thomas: Nothing. Wait what is under her bed.

Detective James: You three must think I'm stupid don't you.

Timmy: Well since we only know you for an hour, we have no idea how intelligent you are.

Freddie: Not helping.

Detective James: You think I don't know you trying to stop us from taking Julie to jail. It only gave you three tickets to juvie.

(Thomas walks in)

Thomas: Not when I'm on the case.

Detective James: You again.

Thomas: Yes, I have evidence that proves Julie innocent, Look.

(Thomas shows a box with documents)

Julie: My father gave that to me and said only used it if my money ran out.

Thomas: Of course he did, they are emergency accounts that fill up millions of dollars. So it doesn't make sense for Julie to steal.

Freddie:So you don't have a younger and single sister do you.

Detective James: Well this is compelling evidence but we still have sources that lead the stolen money to Julie.

Thomas: Maybe you should double check.

Detective James: What do you mean?

Thomas: I mean my friend Freddie hacked into computers pretty easily.

Freddie:It was his idea.

Thomas: It was too easy, almost like someone hacked in it a bunch of times and changed things.

Timmy: You mean from outside forged those reports.

Detective James: Get the big brains on the phone, have them check this out.

(Few minutes later)

Detective James: Turns out they were multiple unauthorized access of the police computers and they changed some police reports.

Mark: Who?

Detective James: We don't know but it means Julie is free to go. My apologies.

Julie: You were only doing your job. I owe the Laughing Detective again.

Thomas: Is all in the day's work.

Detective James: I underestimated you Laughing Detective, maybe you have a future in law enforcement.

Thomas: I prefer to go with my gut then the rules.

Lee Home

(Thomas room)

Mark: What a day.

Freddie: After today are you still playing, not including the Laughing Detectives in your books.

Timmy: Yes.

Thomas: Serious bro you still don't think I'm a real detective.

Timmy: Is because you're a real detective I won't put you in my books. I'm a fictional writer and you're the real thing.

Thomas: You're a real good brother. Come on nigga time.

(Thomas gets a phone call)

Mark: Who's that?

Thomas: I don't know.

(Thomas answers it)

Thomas: Hello.

Unknown: Hello detective.

Thomas: Who is this?

Unknown: Someone who is impressed you figured out my trick with you boss today.

Timmy: It was you who framed Julie.

Thomas: What did she ever do to her?

Unknown: Nothing, I just like to have fun.

Thomas: I do too but never like this.

Unknown: Well maybe next time we can play together. Goodbye Laughing Detective.

(Phone call ends)

Thomas: This looks like a long case.
