CHAPTER 3

(Iqra P. O. V)

The words on the whiteboard turn into a blur as I shift a yawn. As Ms. Sen drones on about the 'reflection of light' , my mind drifts away.

Stifling yet another yawn, I started drawing her in my notebook. As usual, my eyes wander over to the girl sitting at the front of the classroom.

Shanaya singha roy.

She is studying the whiteboard with her back straight against the chair and her arms folded across her chest. Every so often she gives ms. Sen a short nod of understanding. From the way her face lights up, shanaya's nods are probably the only ones Ms. Sen gets that are not from students dozing off.

"Alright class that's the end of our session. Don't forget to study for the exam next meeting! " Ms. Sen yells out to the dispersing crowd, sighing when she realizes not even half of the class bothered to listen.

-------------

Iqra would usually just see glimpse of her in the cafeteria, in the field,in the library,or in the hallways, if she was lucky anyway. Sometimes she wouldn't see her, that always sucked for her and she becomes depressed.

"God watch it dyke". She heard a scoff and a rough push to the side. She felt the pain as her arm collided with the metal lockers and cried out internally.

Even if she is angry with them, she does not give them any counter-reply Because he knows that if she retaliates to them, the matter will get worse and she will suffer the end result. So when the bullies bullied her, she did not retaliate against them and after the bullies finished making fun of her, she was quietly left from there.

After leaving the school cafeteria, she went to the school playground for lunch.
