"Nareswara!"
I shouted Nareswara's name when I saw him sitting next to Zeina. My shout not only made Nareswara turn around but also Zeina, and he turned around. Should I say his name? OK, the name isn't wrong, it's the owner of the wrong name. I will say his name again even though it hurts to say it.
Nareswara stood up as did Zeina who had been sitting between Nareswara and Garvi. I saw traces of blood on the left corner of Nareswara's lips. The skin around it is also still red. I'm sure that Zeina helped Nareswara clean the wound because my sister always carries a mini first aid kit whenever she goes anywhere.
I turned to look at Garvi and I hoped he would get worse injuries than Nareswara. This is the first time I hope he gets hurt because all this time I have always reminded him not to get hurt in the slightest because prospective national basketball athletes cannot get hurt. Seeing Garvi's left jaw turn blue and his forehead with a few red bumps made me sick. I really can't bear it, but I can't be consumed by the situation.
"Why are you fighting like this?" I asked Nareswara and Garvi, looking at them alternately.
"You!"
"Self-defense!"
They answered simultaneously and I nodded in understanding but in my heart, I smiled praising Nareswara's actions. At least it would be useful for this Korean-Indonesian young man to return here. I'll say thank you later after we get home so Garvi doesn't find out. It's not that I'm afraid Garvi will be offended, it's just that this is my problem with Garvi and Nareswara doesn't need to interfere. So I won't let Garvi know that I praised Nareswara for beating Garvi today.
"Nares, come home with me and Zeina, you go to the course so you can remove your eyelashes, and don't make Nares remove them."
"Didn't Nares hurt your eyelashes when he removed the false eyelashes?" asked Garvi and suddenly the three of us looked at Garvi.
Zeina shook her head innocently and answered, "Nares is an expert so it's safe." His tone was very annoying and seemed mocking. But that's Zeina's style since she first started talking.
Nareswara suddenly sandwiched Zeina and my arms and made me. He walked towards home and we left Garvi, I don't know whether he was still there or had gone home. I was reluctant to turn towards him. If there is a straight road ahead, why do you have to look back at the broken road behind?
"Wait, Zeina has to take classes," I said with a little resistance from being squeezed by Nareswara's arm, but what can I do if I don't have muscles as strong as Nareswara?
"When I saw cats fighting, I immediately asked permission not to attend the course." Zeina lightly said the words 'cats fight', making Nareswara clear his throat in disapproval of being called a cat.
"It's a cat, isn't it? When you two were fighting, I splashed you with water from a bottle and it immediately stopped. If a cat fights and is splashed with water, it immediately stops fighting."
My laugh came out when Zeina said it without any sense of politeness at all. The laughter didn't last long because Nareswara gripped my arm tightly and made me scream in pain. He is indeed a heartless king and not just a cruel king anymore if he is like this. Luckily it didn't last long, if it lasts long I will make sure to come to the hospital to get an X-ray.
*.*.*.*
When we got home, Zeina and I were immediately greeted by Mother's scolding. I went home after sunset while Zeina didn't go to the make-up course. After I told Mother about the reason why I came home late and Zeina didn't go to the course, Mother apologized to us. And I saw the look of surprise on Zeina's face when she glanced briefly at my sister's face.
"Nares is indeed a good child," Mother praised Nareswara then walked into the kitchen again.
"You immediately knew that they were fighting with other people or something," I asked Zeina.
"I was passing through the park and I saw Nares walking in a hurry and I followed him, but it turned out he immediately punched Garvi in the face. There was a scuffle and I doused them with water from a bottle and then they stopped fighting. Finally, I told them to sit down and I was in the middle. Don't fight anymore, I'll call you." Zeina told the story from the front door of her room and I could only nod.
Should I say thank you to Nareswara and praise him like what I said to myself when I was in the park earlier?
I saw Mother come out of the kitchen in a hurry and said, "Mother is going to Nareswara's house to invite him to dinner and to thank him."
If you think that, Agha and Mother have the same characteristics, then you are right. The three of us are a little vengeful and find it difficult to forgive people who have made our hearts hurt and broken. Very different from Father and Zeina who are forgiving.
When I climbed the third flight of stairs, Zeina called me so I stopped and looked down. "Are you happy that Nares did that?"
I nodded with a smile but I saw a look of disappointment in Zeina's eyes. "Honestly, I didn't like what Nares did because it was violent, even though I felt flattered by what Nares did earlier." For some reason, Zeina, who is still in junior high school, sounds wise but I don't agree with what she said.
"Nay, Zei," shouted Agha, who couldn't help but come home at this time because he usually only came home before dinner or even after dinner.
"I heard a story from mother when I just arrived. Daebak, daebak, daebak is indeed Nares." Well, I just agreed because what Agha said was the same as what I felt.
Zeina went to her room and I'm sure she was afraid of losing the debate with the two of us. Let it be, my little sister is still small and doesn't know what it's like to be cheated on and it's enough that I'm the only one who feels like this. Not for my brother.
Agha climbed the stairs and he put his arm around my shoulder then we both walked up the stairs to the second floor, where our room was. We laughed cheerfully as if what was in our hearts was channeled today through Nareswara.
My phone vibrated and I took out my phone and there was an incoming call from an unknown number. Because fraud was rife by being hypnotized via telephone calls, I didn't pick up and immediately rejected the call.
"Why didn't you pick it up?" asked Agha when we were on the second floor.
"I don't know the number. I'm afraid I'll be hypnotized and give the account pin to the fraudster," I answered while ringing my arm after Agha didn't embrace me.
Agha laughed at that, "Does your account have anything in it?"
"Yes, if you transfer some money to my account." I giggled when I said that and immediately ran towards the room before Agha threw the mat at me.
Entered the room then locked it so that Agha couldn't open the bedroom door and throw the mat at me. I moved my arm which had been clamped by Nareswara, it felt painful. Ah, he's too much. Shall I just withdraw the praise for him? No, no, he's already kind so I'll forgive him this time.
My cell phone vibrated again and this time the call was from Garvi and I was in a dilemma.
