"Do you have a memory of you gifting a red rose to him in your childhood?" he queried.
She narrowed and rolled her pupils all over the building as she gathered her childhood memories.
As she remembered, she offered a lovely, frank smile at the foggy face of the small boy, and she realised that the boy was her first love.
"Yes, but I couldn't picture his face." She was not strong enough to say it must be him.
"Yes, you did. Since that day, he has been searching for you." Yeong-Kwan declared.
"Is he a fool or something? We have been friends since birth. How can't he recognise my face?" She riled.
"Yes, he must have had poor sight back then. He couldn't recognise you." Yeong-Kwan sighed blunderingly.
"Then if I say that was me, he will be good to me, am I right?" She excitedly beamed in happiness and cursed herself, for she had been hating him for this whole year. "Why did you hate him, Choi? He is your love."
She unseated quickly, leaving unfinished food, informing Yeong-Kwan, who was suddenly unaware of her happiness, "Let's go to him right now. Come on."
"Choi," he called her sinfully.
"What?" She innocently blinked at him without suppressing the overwhelming exultation that she had found her first love.
"Someone took your place already," he informed mournfully.
Instantly, she dropped her jubilation. Dole fully gazed at concerning Yeong-Kwan, "What?"
"Before you found this phone, his collegemate Eunhae stole your nickname and had already proposed to him when they were 17." With the same sympathetic glance, he detailed everything.
"Eunhae?" As her own voice echoed inside her mind, she remembered the login status: 'Someone had already logged in'
"Kwanna, isn't it illegal? Stealing others's emails?" She pressed down her brow in doubt.
"Choi, they had already lived as a married couple so many times. Do you still want him?" His question fueled her inner, hidden fury.
As a result, she seethed, "That doesn't matter in love. Love only needs care and emotions. Not a body. He will come back to me if he comes to know that was me." She said the last sentence, hopefully. Suddenly, she inserted her hand inside his left pant pocket, as he was consternated at her situation. She pulled furiously her hand out after clenching the car key and ran fast out, leaving Yeong-Kwan in an extreme battle of agony.
Since her family had a friendship with Mr. Go's family, she was well-trained in car driving even before she turned 16.
Realising Woo-Sunk was in a state of physical amusement with Eunhae, he rushed out. However, before he reaches the ground floor, his car has already passed the main gate of an office building.
He followed back, blocked the coming cap, and got in hurriedly.
The cap was pulled over in front of the apartment building. Again, misfortune; Choi is already running inside, opening the glass door of the main entrance.
Noticing she used the elevator, his pupils darted to the staircase, running to it in no time.
With a highly strung face, he reached Woo-Sunk's house floor. He turned to the curve in a rush without halting his foot or lowering his speed and spotted Choi heading to that room furiously. He sighed and gasped while chasing her.
With an inch of space between his stretched fingers and her collar, her body struck inside the house.
Yeong-Kwan panted for a second, hurriedly chased her again once after his foot was stricken, and stopped in front of the house's entrance.
She excitedly walked fast to his room, her hand twirling low at the handle of a door, wide open, as her smile became bigger per second.
In a second, her beamed eyes noticed his sudden stare at her with his body blanking upon a girl. Darkness surrounded those eyes, and a broad smile dropped inside the burning valcona. Before she penetrated the one-blink scene into her brain, Yeong-Kwan's warm hand covered her eyes, pulled shut the door instantly, another hand cupped her shoulder arm, twirled her whole body towards him, and then only he released his hold, panting relaxingly.
Eunhae, frightened, covered herself quickly, even though the bed sheet was already covered up to Woo-Sunk's back shoulder. In that way, no one was able to see her naked breast except Woo-Sunk, who was upon her.
Meanwhile...
When Yeong-Kwan gasped, the sound vanished, and he felt his palms becoming wet. So he leaned his head to one side to see if she was shedding tears.
Before he could remove his finger slightly away from covering her eyes, her body was twirled to opposite sides quickly, and the muscle and the fumingly vein-popping hand of Woo-Sunk slapped hard on her so that she fell to the ground without balance.
Yeong-Kwan's pupils expanded in trauma, and frighteningly saw her body twirling itself once fully before falling hard on the ground with her whole body punched on the ground, those small, soft, little long parallally stretched hands against the ground getting slapped from the ground as a result of her body falling.
"Choi!!"
Screamed her name out loud, which echoed inside the house.
She kept that position without any movement as his one slap reminded her to remake the decision and get back to Woo-Sunk.
"Do you have any manners?" Woo-Sunk fumed like a fire, thinking that she did it purposely.
Yeong-Kwan's shocked mixed-galled eyes glared at him fuming at Choi, tightened his whole storming anger into his fist, and punched his face in no time to remind him that Yeong-Kwan was with her.
"Brother, she peeked at us having-" Woo-Sunk tried to talk back, justifying himself. But,
Yeong-Kwan had another punch enough to shut his mouth and lower his eyes from him.
"She didn't know about this," Yeong-Kwan enraged with tightened muscles before rushing to her, turning her fallen body, and lifting her slightly until that breathing shoulder lay back on his kneeled thigh.
She twisted her face away from them and enfolded it on his right chest, whimpering slightly that could be heard by Yeong-Kwan only.
Yeong-Kwan bulse rising, burning inside without being able to digest the saddest moment that she had ever thought of.
He fumed towards Woo-Sunk as Eunhae came to stand beside him. "You are on the wrong side," he declared as a warning.
"Hyung, she peeked at us. She already knows about us; why is she trying to peek at us?" Woo-Sunk complained as if he had done what was right.
"Who is she? Your first love?" Yeong-Kwan sarcastically asked.
Two of them narrowed their eyes at him in extreme conflict.
"If the truth comes to light, you will regret all of this." With a vulnerable heart, he cursed him.
"No," Suddenly he shook his head left and right.
"I will let you know when the time comes. At that time, I won't give Choi to you, even if you plead or scream. She is not going to be yours anymore in any situation."
Gasping furiously and once spilling vibrantly without gape.
"Choi, Choi is going to be mine from now on. I'll serve her no matter what."
Gently, stunned Choi dismissed her embedded tear-soaked face from his chest and looked at him unbelievably.
"Let's go, You don't need him. I'll serve you." He confessed in the melancholy moment, which was hard for her to predict was a love confession or his protection.
He then stood up along with her and turned towards the exit. While Woo-Sunk had no idea what he was talking about, Eunhae swallowed the slightest fear into her throat as she sensed that two of them, Yeong-Kwan and Choi, knew about the truth already.
Choi halted her body from moving with Yeong-Kwan, forcefully removed his hand from her shoulder arm, and walked into her room as Yeong-Kwan conflictedly watched her.
Inside her room, she picked up the photo of 19-year-old Choi kissing 23-year-old Yeong-Kwan's cheek with pleasant joy while 21-year-old Woo-Sunk stood apart from them.
"I have no idea why I keep trusting you, but somewhat, I hope there was good fortune behind this kiss," Consciously encased the mystery-filled photo.
Then, she came back with an empty hand as she went in. Holding his hand, she stood facing the existing way without saying anything, while Yeong-Kwan was waiting for her comment.
