"I don't understand what's happening," one letter read. "The children keep saying they hear voices at night. Mary, I feel like we're being watched. I don't know what to do."

Sarah shivered, the words echoing their own experiences. "It's like history is repeating itself."

Richie opened the journal, skimming the entries. The handwriting was shaky, the words filled with fear and confusion. The final entry sent a chill down his spine.

"We can't stay here any longer. The voices are getting louder. I fear for our lives. We must leave before it's too late."
